>>41174782....nothing. You are stupid. There's no magic in the world. This board is for loons.
>>41174782They know how to make some fucking epic games.
>>41174782They're Yakuza, so probably a lot
>>41174782The incorporation of common, aesthetic geometric configurations into their endeavours
>>41174782>What does Nintendo know?Zen is not the only school of buddhism there in Japan. They also are fascinated by both heroism of Zoroastrianism sacred texts and are conscious about the involving of abrahamic kabbalists in the drop of the bombs.
>>41174782>Nazi symbolism and Greek creation myth in Zelda>Kirby lore involves an understanding of alchemy>Pokemon are subtly based on Goetic demons mixed with Yokai>Other Mario games have freemason stuff (Mario 64, Mario 3), and weird spiritual ascension themes (Luigi's Mansion astral hall segment)>Lots of games have post apocalypse theme with the humans either dying or more often than not leaving the Earth entirely (Kirby, Pikmin, Splatoon)Pic related sort of related, as it's not Nintendo technically. If anyone has that Zelda infograph please post it btw
>>41174782Besides anything they might have from masonic connections, they have a profound interest in foreign mythology.Shinto's foreign to the west. In the exact same vein, Greek, Persian, Egyptian mythologies are foreign to Japan. And being foreign to those myths, they tend to do a far better job of representing it both visually and in the storytelling. It's also why they keep remaking the same games. All they can really change about Super Mario Odyssey is how much shit is on the screen, the resolution or graphical fidelity. The themes and stories will be the same, because those are the stories Nintendo wants to tell. It's like how Pokemon's 2nd generation is all about ancient Japan, the Vermilion Bird and celestial themes are very prevalent. Perhaps not that obvious to western kids, but recognisable and "ooooh now I see" when you figure it out.But when they remade Gold and Silver for the DS, they didn't change a thing about the games. Everything about the content of the game is exactly as it was. All they did, was change the graphical styling to fit the 4th gen and the DS' capabilities, and add a few cutscenes to increase the engagement with the story that was already there. There's still the Celestial Bird and its Sun and Moon polarities, the 4 Empresses (kimono girls), etc.
