it's so easy to spot weird stuff, you just need to go where most humans have never set foot.

once you learn to spot the footprint of unnatural lines and angles odd things will pop out easily after a few minutes of searching. the location is the peaks of the mountain ranges of the submerged continent of atlantis, now the islands around new zealand.

This whole area of the ocean floor is wacky. I assume it's some kind of sonar artifact but people came up with several different explanations.

There was a probable LARP here some years ago where the OP claimed there was a man pretending to be him and interacting with his family in his place, and the anon was tracking him through Google Street View. I didn't follow the thread though.

I didn't know this; thank you. I should check my account settings. The only reason I use my Google account anyway is I still use my alma mater's email service.

>hypothesis - isolated and remote antarctic islands have been inhabited but were abandoned. catastrophe hits antarctica (glaciation), survivors flee to zealandia, catastrophe hits zealandia (plate subduction), survivors disperse.

>how do we go about testing this? what evidence is there?

maori oral legends state that when they arrived to new zealand they encountered humanoids (red-headed giants and small blue skinned people) who they traded and fought wars against, then these people disappeared mysteriously. since we have high quality satellite imagery of very remote places we can scan visually through google earth to look for anomalies. the human eye is quite good at picking out odd patterns. in the image you quoted there is only one odd colored rectangular block, i have framed it in the center of the image for you. going to maximum resolution gives us something like 5 meters (15feet) which reveals a pale rectangular block and a dark brown shape. zooming out and back in you can see this stands out in contrast to the rest of the scene, which might be indications that we are looking at something dynamic. a statue rolling over, a person, some other type of object. the pale rocks starting to agglomerate back together are indicative of ancient construction weathered by many years of wind and caustic seaspray erosion. this island probably served as a lookout point, lighthouse, guard tower, fortress since it is the most north westerly point and closest to the nearby island (to the north west).

there are strange objects all over these (extremely remote) islands, which are mostly visited by research scientists, botanists, atmospheric physicists, zoologists, who are interested in studying the remote flora, fauna and weather. i have included another example. in the bottom case you can tell from the shadow and concavity s that this is likely artificial monumental stonework. worked in situ or collapsed and moved into place by water.
