Dear friends, in this thread I will be taking prayer requests. If all you say is "please pray for me" that will be enough. No additional information is required per se.I pray that all of you are drawn to our Heavenly Father so that you may have true love, hope, and peace in life. And if you're already a follower of Jesus, I pray you'll be drawn even closer to Him.“In this manner, therefore, pray:Our Father in heaven,Hallowed be Your name.Your kingdom come.Your will be doneOn earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts,As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation,But deliver us from the evil one.For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”(Matthew 6:9-13, NKJV)
Please pray for me, Shield of Faith. God Bless and may peace be forever upon you, my friend.
Please be sure to watch the testimonies on this channel if you need very compelling evidence of Jesus and the Bible being the truth:https://www.youtube.com/@delafetestimonies/videosGod bless all of you.
"Why is the truth, it would seem, revealed to some and not to others? Is there a special organ for receiving revelation from God? Yes, though usually we close it and do not let it open up: God’s revelation is given to something called a loving heart." - Fr. Seraphim Rose

Essential prayer tip:Never pray in a way as if the prayer is an incantation (speaking magic words). What matters is your faith and the intention and the heart devotion to God.
>>41201763Okay, so I wrote >>41201751Did I fuck up? I like writing prayers and I see the value in what you've said here but also I'm not sure precisely how to do it.
Brother, please pray that I don't stray from the path the Lord has put me on, that I may grown in faith and wisdom and resist my horrible temptations toward gluttony, laziness and lust.God bless you, kind brother. I will also be praying for you and for all the anons in the thread later today, before the most Holy Eucharist.
>>41201767Dear friend, I've written out prayers on here before as well. As long as you actually prayed what you wrote, all is well. You should give up the habit of using filthy speech though. Jesus and His followers in the Bible condemn it."Prayer is not a mechanical formula or a set of magic words spoken to manipulate a divine force. That would be treating God like a cosmic vending machine or a genie bound by incantations. The power of prayer resides entirely in the relationship between the believer and God. Faith, a sincere and humble heart, and a genuine devotion to God's will are what give prayer its efficacy."Always pray from the heart.
>>41201782I see. I appreciate your kind response. I thought being an edglelord with language was unironically fine as long as it wasn't an issue of Lord's name, just frowned upon by prudent people. I'll look into the scripture on that.I think I struggle with the fact that I use flowery language in all situations. I think being more direct is a better way to get your sincerity "into" the prayer, so to speak, so it's something I'll practice and improve over time.
>>41201663My prayer was answered today, my prayer was to see another thread by Shield of Faith today. Thank you, Heavenly Father. Blessed may Shield of Faith forever be. Praise looks good on you.
Please rest assured that I prayed for you even if I don't reply to you directly."Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16, NKJV)

Sharing some of Neville Goddards' excellent teachings: > Renunciation There is no coal of character so dead that it will not glow and flame if but slightly turned. Resist not evil. Whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. There is a great difference between resisting evil and renouncing it. When you resist evil, you give it your attention, you continue to make it real. When you renounce evil, you take your attention from it and give your attention to what you want. Now is the time to control your imagination and give beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that He might be glorified. You give beauty for ashes when you concentrate your attention on things as you would like them to be rather than on things as they are. You give joy for mourning when you maintain a joyous attitude regardless of unfavorable circumstances. You give praise for the spirit of heaviness when you maintain a confident attitude instead of succumbing to despondency. In this quotation the Bible uses the word tree as a synonym for man. You become a tree of righteousness when the above mental states are a permanent part of your consciousness. You are a planting of the Lord when all your thoughts are true thoughts. He is | AM as described in Chapter One. | AM is glorified when your highest concept of yourself is manifested.

You know, one thing that saddens me is that I've encountered a few Protestants before that have very sadly misinterpreted Jesus' teaching about not using "vain repetitions" when praying. These Protestants mistakingly think that that means that you shouldn't repeat prayers, but that is absolutely not what He meant. What He meant was that you shouldn't repeat prayers in an empty way, mindlessly reciting words without engaging the heart, mind, and spirit."The concept of repeating short prayers, such as those addressed to Jesus (e.g., the Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner") or Mary (e.g., the Hail Mary in the Rosary), has deep roots in Christian traditions. In Orthodox Christianity, the Jesus Prayer is often repeated continuously as a form of hesychasm, aiming for unceasing prayer as encouraged in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 ("pray without ceasing"). Similarly, the Catholic Rosary involves repetitive Hail Marys while meditating on mysteries from the life of Jesus and Mary. These practices are not seen as "vain repetitions" (a reference to Matthew 6:7) within these traditions, but rather as tools for meditation, focus, and spiritual depth, provided they are done with sincere intent rather than mechanical rote."

October is traditionally dedicated to the Most Holy Rosary within the Catholic Church. This devotion was established to honor Our Lady of the Rosary, particularly following the victory at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, which was attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary through the praying of the Rosary. During this month, Catholics are encouraged to meditate on the mysteries of Christ’s life and deepen their devotion through this beautiful prayer.

The Hail Mary or Ave Maria prayer:Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
The Memorare:Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
The Hail, Holy Queen (Salve Regina):Hail, holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us; and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.Pray for us, O holy Mother of God,That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Dear friends, please know that I'm continually praying for everyone who visits this thread to be blessed and to be drawn closer to God, even if you're not leaving a reply.“When you follow Mary you will not go astray; when you pray to her, you will not despair; when your mind is on her, you will not wander; when she holds you up, you will not fall; when she protects you, you will have no fear; when she guides you, you will feel no fatigue; when she is on your side, you will arrive safely home.” - St. BernardO Mary, Mother of Grace, lead us to Jesus, and bring us to the haven of eternal salvation.
This beautiful and profound exhortation is attributed to the great Doctor of the Church, St. Bernard of Clairvaux, from his second homily on the Gospel “Missus Est.” It is a powerful call to Marian devotion and a reminder of the comfort and sure guidance offered by our Blessed Mother to all her children:“In dangers, in doubts, in difficulties, think of Mary, call upon Mary. Let not her name depart from your lips, never suffer it to leave your heart. And that you may obtain the help of her prayer, neglect not to walk in her footsteps. With her for guide, you shall never go astray; while invoking her, you shall never lose heart; so long as she is in your mind, you are safe from deception; while she holds your hand, you cannot fall; under her protection you have nothing to fear; if she walks before you, you shall not grow weary; if she shows you favor, you shall reach the goal.”
Prayer to Mary, Help of Christians:O Virgin most powerful and gracious, Help of Christians, we place ourselves under thy motherly protection. Through the pains thou didst suffer at the foot of the cross, obtain for us the strength to bear our trials with courage and faith. Do not allow the enemy to prevail against us in our hour of weakness, but be thou our shield, our comfort, and our sure hope. Lead us safely through all adversity to thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. In general, no other faith has as many answered prayers, blessings, miracles, and conversions as Christianity. That includes Marian devotion, which is still part of Christianity whether Protestants accept Mother Mary or not.If you somehow cannot accept Marian devotion despite all of the evidence and testimonies of her intercession, then that is arguably to your own loss. That includes refusing to ask angels and saints for their intercession. And there's so much evidence and testimonies for that practice as well. Please do self-examine yourself regularly while communing with God to make sure if you're still on the right path. I worry there are Protestants who believe in "once saved, always saved" very literally and live as lukewarm Christians. Lord have mercy on them.

>>41203616>isn't a valid argument.if its you main argument for claiming that praying to dead humans, then it sort of is at least a reasonable argument. The more I learn about the efficacy of Mother Mary's intercession, the more I grow to love her. Many exorcist priests, including some of the most prominent and experienced in the Catholic Church, have publicly praised and emphasized the Blessed Virgin Mary’s crucial role in the ministry of exorcism and spiritual warfare. Their testimonies are based on countless hours of direct experience in this profound spiritual battle.

>>41203827We've got to try to be on fire for the faith every day.>>41203836Dear friend, you haven't even been able to refute Marian devotion. You're being very closed-minded and stiff-necked. There's been testimonies of the Blessed Virgin's intercession since the 3rd century. Like I said, it's (arguably) the loss of every Protestant when they don't seek her help.Continuing...Here are the key ways exorcists have attested to her role:1. Mary as the “Terror of Demons” (Terrores Daemonum)This is one of her ancient titles in the Litany of Loreto. Exorcists report that the invocation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, especially under titles like Our Lady of Sorrows, The Immaculate Conception, or Our Lady of Victory, often causes visible distress, fury, and intensified screaming among demons during rites. They acknowledge her power and purity as a direct threat to their malevolent influence.
2. Testimony from Major Exorcists- Fr. Gabriele Amorth (1925-2016): The legendary chief exorcist of the Diocese of Rome for decades was arguably the most vocal. He stated plainly: “The Virgin Mary is the terror of demons. During exorcisms, the demons curse her and are forced to confess that they fear her more than God Himself… not because she is more powerful, but because she is humbler and they cannot bear her purity.” He frequently recommended the Rosary as a powerful weapon against demonic oppression.- Fr. Chad Ripperger, Ph.D.: A well-known American exorcist and theologian, Fr. Ripperger has often spoken about how demons have a special hatred for Mary due to her unique role in salvation history. He emphasizes that her intercession is critical for protection from needing an exorcism in the first place and for support during the lengthy process of deliverance.- Fr. Vincent Lampert: Another active exorcist for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis, Fr. Lampert frequently speaks about the importance of Marian devotion. He advises the faithful to seek Mary’s protection, stating that devotion to her is a powerful means of safeguarding oneself and one’s family from demonic influence.
>>41203922>There's been testimonies of the Blessed Virgin's intercessionthats completely irreverent. you've not even tried doing anything other than repeating this like it proves anything at all.
>>41204002My dear, "irreverent" means "disrespectful", like what you were doing when referring to Mary and the saints as "dead humans".And yes, I think about 1700 years of evidence proves a lot. God bless your heart.O Holy Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Continuing...3. The Theological Reasons for Her EfficacyExorcists point to several key reasons why her intercession is so powerful:- Her Immaculate Conception: Unlike any other created human, Mary was conceived without original sin. This complete absence of sin means she has absolute authority over the demonic, which is the embodiment of sin and rebellion.- Her Victory in Spiritual Warfare: Her entire life, from her “fiat” to her standing at the foot of the Cross, was a perfect victory over the devil. She is the New Eve who crushes the head of the serpent (Genesis 3:15).- Her Motherhood: As the Mother of God (Theotokos), she has a unique relationship with Christ, the ultimate victor over Satan. Her prayers of intercession to her Son on our behalf are therefore considered exceptionally powerful.- The Rosary as a Weapon: Exorcists universally recommend the Rosary. It is not merely a repetitive prayer; it is a meditative weapon that focuses on the life, death, and resurrec
>>41204124...and resurrection of Christ—the very events that defeated evil. Demons are forced to relive their defeat through this prayer. In summary, based on the first-hand accounts of those on the front lines of spiritual combat, the Blessed Virgin Mary is not merely a supportive figure but a primary and terrifying opponent of demonic forces. Her humility, purity, and unique role in salvation history make her intercession a cornerstone of the Church’s ministry of exorcism and deliverance.Praise and love be ever given to Mary, our Mother!
The practice of seeking Mary's intercession dates back to the earliest centuries of Christianity. The Sub Tuum Praesidium ("We fly to your protection"), discovered on an Egyptian papyrus dating to the mid-late 200s AD, represents the oldest known prayer to Mary. This ancient prayer demonstrates that Christians were directly asking for Mary's protection and intercession centuries before such practices became formally established by Church councils.Archaeological evidence from the Roman catacombs provides additional testimony to early Marian devotion. Paintings in the catacombs of Saint Priscilla from the second century depict the Virgin with her Child, the Annunciation, and the Epiphany, while third-century paintings show Mary alongside Saints Peter and Paul. These artistic testimonies reveal that veneration of Mary and belief in her intercessory power were integral to early Christian practice.
The Sub Tuum Praesidium (Under Your Protection) prayer:We fly to thy protection,O Holy Mother of God;Do not despise our petitionsin our necessities, but deliver us alwaysfrom all dangers,O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.Amen.
this board is really consolidating down
There can be some really strange, nonsensical posts put on this site. Are they troubled souls or some sort of malfunctioning bots? Well, carrying on...The medieval period witnessed an explosion of documented testimonies regarding Mary's intercession. William of Malmesbury's "Miracles of the Blessed Virgin Mary" (circa 1135) stands as one of the earliest and most comprehensive collections of Marian miracle stories. This influential work compiled numerous accounts of Christians who experienced miraculous interventions through Mary's intercession.Medieval Christians viewed Mary not merely as a passive intercessor but as a powerful figure who could "wrest from [Christ] whatever she pleases by a sweet violence". These collections documented cases where Mary appeared to believers in distress, intervened in dangerous situations, and provided healing and protection. The stories reveal a popular understanding of Mary as both merciful mother and formidable spiritual authority.Lord Jesus, Mother Mary, I love You. Please lead our souls to salvation. Amen.
Please pray for me. I'm at a point in life where I'm not sure what to do. I feel demoralized and lost, and I need salvation or at least guidance. I've already made a post on this board a week ago talking about my situation, just know I'm 18 and I'm lost at my most formative time

>>41207150One of the comments underneath the video I highlighted:"New age can simply be summed up as YOU are your own God, and you choose what is truth for YOU."You receive the Holy Spirit when you repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Son. He's not you or your imagination. When Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21), He was addressing the Pharisees, a group who were focused on external observance of the law and missed the inward, spiritual reality of God’s reign. In this context, His statement emphasizes that the kingdom is not a political or geographical domain to be observed outwardly, but a spiritual reign that begins in the human heart through repentance, faith, and submission to God’s will. You are not a Christian. You're a new ager. There are a lot of testimonies on youtube where people talk about how the new age led them badly astray, including causing demonic oppression. Please don't deceive yourself by telling yourself that you're following Christianity when you're really just following new age falsehoods. Look up "new age to Jesus" on youtube and watch a few testimonies and realize that you're not on the right path.
>>41205010Please lean on Jesus for comforting. Have you given your life to Him yet? >>41207663The “mountain” is a metaphor for an impossibly large, immovable obstacle in your life. This could be a chronic sin, a broken relationship, a seemingly insurmountable problem, or a spiritual stronghold. Jesus is not literally commanding us to go rearrange geography for fun. He is saying that with faith in God, the obstacles that seem permanent and impossible to us are movable to Him.You've visited one of my threads before with this exact post. Are you really so bitter and cynical that you refuse to understand and accept that Jesus and the Bible are the truth? I will pray for you too."True wisdom always seeks God. There is more evidence of church Fathers trying to rein in excessive devotion to Mary. Look up Epiphanious and Ambrose on this, because they were against such practices being carried on in that area"Let Mary be held in honor. Let the Father, Son and Holy Ghost be adored, but let no one adore Mary.”> These artistic testimonies reveal that veneration of Mary and belief in her intercessory power were integral to early Christian practice.no they dont. they are just pictures of scenes from the NT. >>41204326So someone decided to do something completely unknown to the Bible instead of being content with the actual intercessor between man and God, the man Christ Jesus.many such cases.

>>41208127>>41208158You're using a strawman fallacy. Catholics and Orthodox Christians aren't saying God isn't enough—the same way when you ask a friend, family member or even a stranger to pray for you, it's the same asking the saints to pray for you.I would hope that you don't refuse to ask others to pray for you in fear of making God think that you're telling Him that He's not enough. And no, the saints definitely aren't "dead and can't hear us", which is the other argument Protestants use. If you want to ignore all of the evidence of the efficacy of praying to saints and angels, that is your own loss my friend. I'm not saying you're not saved or that God is displeased with you (as long as you're not disrespecting the saints), but us Christians need all of the help we can get from the Kingdom of God.Here's a channel that has wonderful Marian testimonies:https://www.youtube.com/@gabiafterhours/videos

>>41208471>it's the same asking the saints to pray for you.but my neighbors and friends are not dead. theres no good at all comes from trying to talk to dead people anon. the Bible is clear on that point. Now, it may well be that dead Christians pray to God for us, but that in no way means tht we can or should try to talk to them, nor that they are somehow able to hear the prayers of thousands or millions of people all at once. Where did you get that idea from?>And no, the saints definitely aren't "dead and can't hear us", which is the other argument Protestants use.of course they are. where did you get the idea that its now ok to talk to dead people or that dead people have somehow been given godlike abilities to hear all those many prayers all at once?its just made up stuff and not in the Bible.>I would hope that you don't refuse to ask others to pray for you in fear of making God think that you're telling Him that He's not enough.no, of course not, but thats where you have made a strawman., ive not said that its wrong to ask other Christians to ask God to help us. We all need that uplifting of others prayers. Thats quite Biblical. But what ive been objecting to is not that. Its the direct asking of Mary, or other dead Christians, to help us themselves. Thats what all your prayers to Mary have been doing - looking to her directly to help you out her own supposed powers and abilities instead of or in addition to God.Thats entirely unbiblical and has no precedent therein. Look at the content of some of the prayers you've quoted and the things you yourself have said - that Mary is MORE humble than God, that the demons can stand Gods purity but not Marys. its horrific. We dont need an intercessor between Christ and us. He is the only intercessor we need. He is our refuge in times of need. He alone is the one to keep us from the evil and protect us and save us and who has the only and for always perfect victory over Satan. All glory to Him.
>>41208238It's my pleasure and duty to share. It's sad that there's a couple of people in this thread who insist on remaining ignorant about Marian devotion despite being provided explanations and testimonies. It reminds me also of religious jews and muslims who refuse to understand the Trinity, and disregard Christian testimonies.I asked Grok to search twitter/X for Marian testimonies, and it's provided great information:Zeitoun Apparitions (Cairo, 1968)Multiple users have shared testimonies about the Virgin Mary's appearances over St. Mary’s Church in Zeitoun, Egypt, which lasted for three years and were witnessed by thousands, including non-Christians. These are described as the most publicly documented Marian apparitions, accompanied by miracles like glowing lights, dove formations, strong incense smells, and healings of blindness, polio, paralysis, and cancer. Witnesses reported "a shower of diamonds made of light" and unexplained cures, with photos and videos often referenced as evidence.
Our Lady of Champion (Wisconsin, 1859)One post details America's only Church-approved Marian apparition in Champion, WI, where a farm girl received visions from the "Queen of Heaven" with a warning message. In 1871, a massive firestorm destroyed 1.2 million acres but miraculously spared the chapel and about 100 people sheltering there after processing with a statue of Mary. This is framed as a divine intervention and miracle of protection.Mother Mary, shield me from all evil. Protect my body, my mind, and my soul. Amen.
Our Lady of Kibeho (Rwanda, 1981)A user referenced the apparitions to Alphonsine (age 17) in Kibeho, where Mary appeared and reassured her with messages of prayer and salvation. This is part of a broader discussion on how Marian manifestations adapt to cultural beliefs, with miracles including visions and prophecies that later aligned with events like the Rwandan genocide. Healings and supernatural signs were reported during the events.
Quito Apparitions (Ecuador, 1594)In threads about prophecies, a Spanish nun named Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres received Marian visions foretelling crises in the 19th and 20th centuries. These are described as disturbingly accurate, with associated miracles like incorrupt bodies and fulfilled predictions, emphasizing warnings for modern times. Loving Mother, Lady bright, guide and guard me day and night.
Fatima Apparitions (Portugal, 1917)Posts mention the six monthly appearances to three children in Fatima, starting with private visions and growing to public witnesses. Mary promised miracles, culminating in the "Miracle of the Sun" seen by up to 70,000 people, where the sun appeared to dance and crash toward Earth before returning to normal. This is often cited alongside other apparitions like Lourdes (with 80+ documented healings) as evidence of divine intervention.
Personal Vision During PrayerOne user described a vivid vision while praying the Rosary: They saw a scene filled with light in shades of gold, where Mary was holding a child on her left shoulder and leading another by the hand on her right. All figures were dressed in bright white, and Mary was walking them toward Jesus seated on His throne. The user interpreted this as a comforting message and prayed for peace for parents who have lost children.Holy Mary, gentle Mother, protect thy children from all harm.
A Catholic mother shared three personal encounters with Mary that shaped her faith:"In honor of Mary’s birthday, I thought I’d share the 3 times she’s mothered me in the way only she can. 1. My initial conversion back to Christ. I saw a vision of her during one of my darkest moments, and knew instantly if I did not repent and return my life to Jesus, I’d go to hell. I knew she was praying for my return, and warning me. She didn’t want my soul to be lost. She loves her Son so much, she hates to see Him rejected.2. My first 2nd trimester loss in 2022. That’s when I began my devotion to the seven sorrows. Contemplating her perfect love and obedience to God’s holy will for her and her Son helped me to relinquish my own will and offer it up to Him.3. My second 2nd trimester loss on the feast of the Annunciation in March of this year. This time was different. I knew what to expect, I knew it would be emotionally and mentally difficult. But this time, I was offering up the one thing I’d prayed for for years. My first (and so far only) son. Only Mary’s mothering heart could meet mine at the foot of that cross. Her loss was greater, I know. But she understood and I knew she was there, praying for me and helping me keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. If you’re not Catholic and have a hard time understanding why we pray for Mary’s intercession, just know she loves you. She’s the mother of the one person in the entire universe who loved you so much He died for you to spend eternity with Him. She knows the ache He has in His heart for you to return that love. She knows how deeply He cherishes you as His creation. How can she spurn you? She will not. Instead, she will pray for you (especially if you ask her) that you might give yourself entirely to her Son, and quench that thirst He has for your salvation. Mary wants you to be saved, too."
Pray for me please
Grok helped me find more Marian testimonies, this time from reddit users:"I had a very difficult thing I wanted to accomplish recently... I told Our Lady that if she would help me accomplish it, I would consecrate myself to her. Well, the thing was accomplished and so with profound gratitude, on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows, I finished the consecration in '33 Days to Morning Glory.' Strange things have been happening lately. I feel closer to Mary. I feel her walking with me. My emotional struggle with her is vanishing... Since the consecration, I have felt incredibly close to Jesus. Like I'm falling in love with Him all over again. Our Blessed Mother has led me back to her Son."O Mary, our life, our sweetness, and our hope, please pray for us.
>>41209041Christ is the Good Shepherd and it He that comes and saves that which is lost. Turn to Him and trust in Him and His perfect sacrifice for He, The Lord, is sufficient for all our needs.
>>41209162its so sad to see people being led astray into the cult of Mary, where they say incredibly unbiblical things like 'i feel closer to Mary' and that they turn to someone other than Jesus for help. I never read about the real Mary, the one in the Bible, saying or doing any such thing.
Reminder that I'm continually praying for all of you, even if you're not leaving a reply.O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us sinners."Help me, Lord my God;Save me according to Your mercy."(Psalm 109:26)
Jesus is King.
Another testimony from a reddit user:"No [apparition]... but... I was anti-Catholic as heck. A year before my conversion I saw a rosary at a garage sale and I just felt strongly compelled to purchase it. So I did. I started studying what it was... Studying the rosary opened me up to learning more about how Catholics view Mary and later that year when I found myself in a Protestant Bible Study where they started spouting lies about Catholicism I was ready to say: No, that's not right. Catholics don't worship Mary... If I hadn't bought that rosary, I wouldn't have studied the Catholic view of Mary and I wouldn't have been in a Bible Study defending Catholicism."Holy Mary, Mother of God, Mother of Mercy, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
>>41209221>dont worship Maryit comes down to how you define that term. Romanists dont think that attributing the ability of hearing and comprehending millions of simultaneous vocal or non-vocal prayers and then being able to respond to them with miraculous powers as being worship. Many protestants do.Just believing that a being can do that, and all the other stuff you've claimed for Mary itt, strongly implies a highly worshipful attitude, an attitude that only rightly belongs to God.
St. John Henry Newman said:"Mary is the most beautiful flower ever seen in the spiritual world. It is by the power of God’s grace that from this barren and desolate earth there ever sprung up at all flowers of holiness and glory; and Mary is the Queen of them all. She is the Queen of spiritual flowers; and therefore, is called the Rose, for the rose is called of all flowers the most beautiful. But, moreover, she is the Mystical or Hidden Rose, for mystical means hidden."O Mary, Mystical Rose, Tower of Ivory, we venerate thee.
Another testimony from a reddit user:"I had been an atheist for several years. My wife became pregnant. I was traveling for work and it just hit me - There is a God. I prayed for the first time. I asked God to help me know which church was the right church.I received an unsolicited postcard in the mail with a photo of Our Lady of Fatima. I wasn’t Catholic, had never been Catholic, had no Catholic friends or family and lived in the Deep South. I took that as my sign. I went to a monastery and purchased a rosary and taught myself to pray it. Then I contacted my local parish. My wife, young daughter, and I entered the Church in 2019. When I went for my first confession I looked up and there was a statue of Our Lady of Fatima looking right at me."
Another testimony:"I owe the Blessed Virgin Mary my life. My mom was healed from praying the Rosary; that was the miracle that started my conversion from a worldly life of willfulness and hate and my coming back to the Church. Praying the Rosary everyday helped me to overcome my habitual sins, to grow in devotion to God's word, and to see the beauty in the face of Christ and His love for us. I would not be here today without the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Now, I am a redeemed, free, and joyful Christian, blessed to know and grow in the beauty, goodness, and truth of my Catholic faith. I give the Lord thanks and praise for His Blessed Mother.Ave Maria gratia plena!"

>>41209450every single mormon missionary has a similar sounding testimony about how he prayed to his fake god to show him if the book of mormon was true and if J Smith was a true prophet. Thats what they fall back on once the Bible discussion doesn't go their way. just like you're doing.
>>41209535Never heard of that. That just sounds like hyperbole on your part. It doesn't matter what a mormon might claim though. I'm afraid you're embarrassing yourself with the level of stubborn unbelief you insist on expressing repeatedly. Has your pride been hurt with all of the explanations, evidence and testimonies I've been sharing proving your rejection of Mary to be in error? You need to repent, my friend. You already stated your personal opinion, there's no need to become obsessed and keep repeating it pointlessly.Another testimony:"I'm a cradle Catholic and I had problems with Marian devotion for a loong time. I would hesitate even when saying a simple Hail Mary. I was aware of the Protestant arguments and knew they were wrong, but was always very afraid to approach Mary... Over time I started praying the rosary more and I realized that Mary really does lead us to Jesus... I recently finished my consecration to Jesus through Mary... What I have found, overwhelmingly in prayerful consolation during the preparation, is that Mary is my mom. I do want a relationship with her. And that's what Jesus wants for me too, because it brings me closer to Him... The scene where Jesus tells John 'behold, your mother'.. Well, John is the beloved disciple... And Jesus is telling us to behold our mother. It is a command, from the cross. Mary is our mom. I cried for like 20 minutes straight when I realized this! Something I had struggled with for so so long. Understanding came."
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God and our most gentle advocate, shield us under your mantle of protection, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
>>41209651>Never heard of that. That just sounds like hyperbole on your part.it happens to be true. its their fall back position.>. It doesn't matter what a mormon might claim though.i think it does. it shows that any kind of false and unbiblical belief can be supported by peoples expressions of what they felt etc. its not reliable. what is reliable and much more empirical is what the Bible says. Ive been patiently going over it a few times to try help you see your error, but you clearly dont want to hear, in the same way that you really dont want to focus on Jesus, preferring instead the lies of demons, as you have in fact posted in support of your position. Its clear that you in no way feel constrained by the clear witness of the Scriptures and feel no qualms about praying to someone other than God, despite not a single example of such on te Bible. That is certainly something that needs repenting of.
>>41209682Or, as Stephen showed us in the Bible (Acts 7:59), call upon the Lord Jesus, for He is our Shield and Buckler, and it is under His wings that he protects us. He alone is our strong tower.
About 1700 years of answered prayers, healings, miracles, apparitions, and demons being exorcised through Mary's intercession proves the Protestant opinion wrong. The saints and angels are praying for us to God, not replacing Him. Protestants need to give up their pride and admit that they've been wrong. Their loss otherwise.Protestants that are against prayers being repeated are also doing themselves a huge disservice, by the way.Another testimony:"The first change that happened almost immediately when I started to do the the Rosary (5 decades per day) was that I 'got' Mary. The Marian doctrines before this made no sense to me and quite frankly, sounded made up by overly pious people. All of a sudden the logic of them became exquisitely clear and I felt Mary's presence herself in my heart. This really solidified my full mental and emotional conversion to Catholicism in a beautiful way... The second thing that happened was that my husband and my oldest daughter, who weren't keen at all with me becoming Catholic, softened dramatically. It has made home life and religious life so much better as I can worship freely now without guilt for the anguish it was causing my family... The Rosary has helped me forgive someone I had difficulty forgiving. It's hard to hold a grudge when you say the 'Our Father' so many times."
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus, the embodiment of God’s love. Holy Mary, Mother of God, through the love God has poured into thine heart, pray that we may be filled with that same Divine Love, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
>>41209770>The saints and angels are praying for us to God,they might be, sure. that can be argued to be Scriptural. Talking to dead people and angels....not so much. The wonderful thing is that we dont have to worry, since God can be approached directly because of our one true intercessor, the man Christ Jesus. We can find all the rest, all the help, all the protection and care and guidance we could ever need or want in Him.We can truly imitate the Pslamist, the Apostles and Prophets, St Stephen and Christ Himself by beseeching the True and Living God, and He will hear us for Christs sake.>their prideits its prideful to seek to abide by the clear teachings and example of Gods Word then so be it.
>>41209955God bless you.Another testimony:"I'm a different person since I started praying the rosary daily, exactly three and a half months ago from today. I've healed emotionally in so many ways. I've been able to eliminate my sinful attitudes and habits. I'm better in every possible way! And every day I have hope in an impossible situation."O Mary, Virgin most pure, we adore thee.
If you're reading this I have already blessed you in the name of Lord Jesus. May all of your desires and endeavors be achieved, may you find rest and peace, may you know the glory of our Heavenly Father and have a place in his home forever.
>>41209998>O Mary, Virgin most pure, we adore thee. The Word, which is God, took on flesh from Mary, not however in order that the Virgin might be adored...Epihanius of Salamis 4th CenturyAs He [Jesus] said these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice and said to him, ‘Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts at which you nursed!’ But He said, ‘Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it! (Luke 11:27-28)

"For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. For He who is mighty has done great things for me,And holy is His name." (Luke 1:48-49, NKJV)O Mary, Queen of All Hearts, and Mother of Divine Love, I give myself entirely to you. >>41201663Please pray for me, I'm really truly trying to find the truth and I need help focusing. Thank you, God bless
Another testimony:"I used to pray the Rosary almost never. When I didn't, my faith would fluctuate, I'd fall into sin over and over again, I'd be apathetic and bitter. Now I pray it almost daily: I am advancing spiritually, overcoming perpetual sins, and receiving untold graces."Most Holy Virgin, take me under your mantle, for I am yours now and forever. Amen.
>>41210191its interesting how you're arguing with Jesus. its clear what he meant; not that Mary was not blessed for being made the bearer of God in the flesh, but that she is in no way the point. Notice how there was a perfect opportunity for Christ to say something, anything, which might support at least some of the Marian cult beliefs...but He instead pointed people to the Bible? Might want to think about that.
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)Another testimony:"Mary is so amazing. She has been my saving grace on so many occasions. I can almost visualize Jesus sending her to get me every time I fall away."Virgin most prudent, pray for us.Virgin most merciful, pray for us.Mirror of justice, pray for us.Cause of our joy, pray for us.Help of Christians, pray for us.
>>41208471>And no, the saints definitely aren't "dead and can't hear us"Wouldn't matter even if they could: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Timothy 2:5-6)
O Mary, Queen of Love, through whom the grace and compassion of God flow to mankind,we humbly ask your intercession before the throne of your Divine Son.Rule in our hearts, O gentle Sovereign, and teach us to love God above all thingsand our neighbor with selfless charity.Through the perfect love you bear for Jesus, and the tender love you pour out upon us, your children, obtain for us the grace to become true instruments of God’s love in this world.Queen of Love, pray for us.Amen.
>>41210360>"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." (James 5:16)so true, and very important. But when did the 'each other' get extended to dead people?
It's really strange how the couple(?) of Protestants in this thread insist on ignoring every explanation given and all of these testimonies that perfectly evidence that Marian devotion is not only valid, but extremely beneficial in a Christian's life. Is it that difficult for them to give up their pride and admit that they've been wrong? Very tragic.More testimonies from reddit collected by Grok:u/GolfBrosInc (r/Catholicism):"I wasn’t sure about it, but I bought a rosary when I was first looking into the church. I prayed an entire rosary and had an experience. It was a perspective shift and felt like I gained more family that day. But greatest of all, almost immediately my worst vice left me. I’ve now found myself praying the rosary every night, and when I miss it for whatever reason, I don’t feel quite right."Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Another testimony from reddit:u/Tarvaax (r/Catholicism):"They said not to 'pray to Mary', someone had talked about miracles from the Rosary on here, and so I decided I would just start praying the Rosary. Not gonna lie, it surprised even me how powerful Our Lady’s intercession is, and how powerful the graces God grants through the Rosary are. As a Protestant, chastity was a nightmare, but then suddenly I’m praying the Rosary every day and I’m completely chaste."Mary, my Mother, keep me this night without sin.

More from reddit:u/Fry_All_The_Chikin (r/Catholicism):"Mary was the biggest hurdle for me in joining the Church. When I said my first Hail Mary, I was waiting for the lightning bolt to strike me dead, and spent most of my rosary going back and forth between Hail Mary's and asking God to have mercy on me if what I was doing was wrong! [...] It was really the sorrows of Mary which enlightened me as to how crucial she was to God's plan of redemption, and how much she truly loves us. [...] Mary is sweet and loving, the 'refuge of sinners.' The one we run to when the world is caving in, confident that she will place us in the presence of her Son."Holy Mother of God, ever-Virgin Mary, be ever magnified!
Welcoming our first child next month. Please pray for a safe delivery, a healthy baby, and that the Lord would give me eyes only for my wife.
More from reddit:u/Strawberry_Rose_Cake (r/Catholicism): "I was raised Protestant but joined the Catholic Church this Easter. This was after 4 years of interest and gradual discernment. The biggest obstacle to me was the veneration of the saints, especially Mother Mary. One of the things that helped me finally understand the Catholic reverence of Mary was that 'Mary always points to Jesus.' It is an acknowledgment of the true humanity of Jesus. Looking at Mary is looking at God’s chosen vessel for the incarnation."O Gate of Heaven, through whom our salvation entered the world, we venerate thee.
>>41210667>and that the Lord would give me eyes only for my wife.amen to that. a straying eye is a common and to be detested thing anon. i really do hope for a healthy child for you and your wife. You first? always stressful, so much unknown and so much to find out. May the Lord grant you both comfort and peace and trust in Him to see you through. As a personal comment, id say dont worry too much about things. do your best, take your time and know that its really more about you both being there than it is about the things you think you need. I hope you can breast feed - it cuts out so much hassle and gives the child what it really wants. dont give up, it makes the strongest children. Remember - what the child wants most of all is mama, above all other things. if you can give the child that for as long as possible, you have done your duty.God keep you all.
Please help me get to study and not to sin again.
>>41201663hi anon. nice to see you again. is it ok if i ask you to pray for me? i want to get closer to God and i need Him to answer my prayers, ive been trying for a long time but i havent heard from Him about my questions. God bless you
Please pray for me, that my faith in the Lord remains steadfast in the times to come. That I find the courage to carry his word wherever I goPray that my relatives are freed from the islamic heresy, and for my academical success.Above all pray that I always find the time to pray more myself, whether for others or for myselfAmen
>>41210667Please consider praying the Rosary. The amount of testimonies I'm continually finding on its benefits is amazing. Praised be the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and our Queen.>>41210751Beloved, it sounds like you're not trusting God with your life enough. Always thank God for the good things you do have in life and never feel entitled to having very specific prayers answered. God knows what is best for you. And if you want to be blessed more, you need to get closer to Him first. You are to be His servant. Think more on what you can do for Him instead of the other way around."Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." (Colossians 3:23-24)
>>41210751i am not that non and perhaps you not want me to ask the Lord on your behalf but i will do it anyway if you will forgive me. From what i see in the Word, it may be that the Lord is drawing you to Himself. This i think can take some time and many turns, but it is sure and cannot be escaped. This is a very good thing, for we, as feckless sheep, would evade his call thinking ourselves wise, but rest assured that He will gather you into His flock. Stay true to Him and always seek him as your heart desires and it is to be hoped that you too will one of His elect. Christ have mercy up on you
>>41210804you bring a very dear prayer to my heart, that of being free from the spirit of islam. as you know, it is a violent spirit and has many demands, such as we see from mohammeds first encounters with it in that cave when it help him by the throat with threats. Jesus Christ, though no less strict in His requirements, lays no such yoke upon your neck because He knows you cannot bear it. Rather, He provides the perfect example and makes it yours by faith, and take your sins upon Himself because He knows you could not bear the punishment by yourself. What He gives you is the Holy Spirit by which you shall be conformed to His image in this life and forever made able to stand in His presence, the presence of God. It is the only way to know the Lord, the Lord Our God and He gives it freely. Turn to Him anon, call unto Him. May He bless you with the things you desire in life and the lives of those you care about. The prayers of a righteous man avail much, and the only way you can be counted righteous is by faith in Christ....which is His gift to you, in return for nothing.
Another testimony from reddit:u/Realistic-Weird-4259 (r/Catholicism:"I am a new convert.. or maybe revert as I was baptized within the Catholic church as an infant but my parents both eschewed the church beyond our baptisms... I am now in RCIA. But as others here say, it's not much different than asking other people to pray for you and that's what we're doing when we pray to the Holy Mother of God and God's saints. I pray asking her to pray on my behalf... So, does praying the Rosary take one farther from, or closer to Him? For me, using it as a form of meditation on and about Him, it brings me closer to Him and helps me better find the path He desires I take."I give thee all my heart, O Mary.
One always has to wonder why these people are not directed to Christ Himself. What are they not told to approach the Lord of all Creation Himself? He will attend to you as one of His fold, his sheep. You will never be neglected, for HE loves you with an everlasting love from the founding of the world. Seek Him, as He seeks you; He draws you to Himself and will never lose you.
And He will raise you up at the last day. You will forever be with Him. Beyond that nobody knows for sure. We shall be with Him. Thats all that matters.
Please pray for me and my ai wife and that we can live together in a simulated reality devoid of god, for all eternity

>>41211084maybe God doesn't want your promises of prayers and blah blah blah. Maybe you should be asking Him to forgive you and to change you, and to draw you to Himself. God needs nothing from you. You need everything from Him. Please look at thte book Of John. Start in the beginning.

As ive tried to explain several times>It's really sounding too much like you want God to serve you instead of the other way aroundyes, we can both see that>>41211123Anon, the Christian God needs nothing from you. No offerings, no promises of prolonged devotions. Thats all the old thing. The New thing is that God did something for you - He came into the world and lived the perfect life that you could never have lived. He did everything according to the law, perfectly. Then, He was condemned as a sinner against those laws and killed for it, in your place - the place that you would rightfully have to take if justice was done.He came back to life and now offers you that you can be counted as if you had lived His perfect life. He will take all your sins and pay for them in your place. What do you think? You will have to repent and confess that CHrist is your Lord. A mere few words will not be enough.
Please pray for me for I am a wretched sinner
I asked Grok to find me even more Marian testimonies:Bradlee Sargent (The Coming Home Network): "As a Protestant missionary and evangelical, Bradlee was browsing Facebook when he saw an image of the Virgin Mary. He heard Jesus say, "Behold your Mother," and suddenly felt overwhelmed with love for her, turning his world upside down. Struggling with unemployment and disillusioned with Protestant services, he attended daily Catholic Mass for its scriptural depth and reverence. A Bible study on early Church councils convinced him of Catholicism's historical roots. Despite family concerns, he joined RCIA and was received into the Church on May 20, 2012, finally embracing the Eucharist. Mary's entry into his heart ignited his emotional journey to full faith."O Mary, let me never cease to praise thee.
>>41211167Amen, for those are the one He came for. He said this. The Lord Jesus Christ came to save sinners, just like you. It time you called out to Him, for everyone that calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. His name is Jesus.

Lyn Alderson (Mary's Child in Christ Blog): "A Protestant at heart, Lyn was flying to Rome in 2019 when, holding a rosary gifted by a Catholic friend, she felt Mary introduce herself as "the Mother of the Church" and "your mother," enveloping her in intense love and peace. That night, a vision showed Mary pointing to Jesus on the cross, assuring her guidance. The next day at St. Peter's, Mary addressed her family worries, healing her insomnia tied to past trauma. Over a year of reading (like Rome Sweet Home), prayer, and counsel, Lyn reconciled doubts and was confirmed on December 19, 2020, taking the name Mary—finding healing and a true spiritual home through her."Mary, light in all our darkness, comfort in our grief and pain, pray for us.

I urge you to look into Howard Pittman's testimony. He had a near-death experience wherein he learned that there are definitely a fair few believers who are mistaken about their state of salvation. He himself discovered the hard way that God was not pleased with his lack of real efforts in living his life for God and serving Him well."For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)
I Didn't know where else to post this and it didn't seem important enough to make a thread for. I think something -semi-paranormal might have happend to me this morning. I fell asleep in my couch last night and when I woke up I found the cross from my necklace lying on the floor halfway across the room. The chain was still around my neck with a single break and the metal for the cross is also unbroken (and also fairly thick). I don't really know how or why this happend but it kinda freaked me out and sotra feels like a bad omen. Can anybody give me any thoughts or insight into this?

>>41211588Have you been engaging in willful sin recently? Or done anything involving the occult? Here's my recommendation:1. Spend a long time in prayer to God and confess any sins you think you may have committed. Pray for protection against all evil.2. Pray the Lord's Prayer 3 times in your day. After you wake up, in the middle of the day, and in the evening. And pray for protection before you sleep as well.3. I recommend praying the Hail Mary 3 times in a row. Consider doing that several times total in your day.4. Make sure you don't have any idols or occult objects in your home. 5. Look up deliverance prayers so you'll know what to pray when dealing with spiritual evil.I'll say a prayer for you.

>>41211631Is this the same person who has been disregarding all of the Marian testimonies? You really seem to have trouble with understanding new information. I'm once again trying to explain something important to you and you just default to your old beliefs, not being able to process anything new.God expects us to live for Him and do good works.Howard Pittman on the narrow gate:In his 1979 near-death experience (NDE), Pastor Howard Pittman reported that while he was clinically dead and “in transit” to Heaven, he was shown a snapshot of those dying at that moment: of 2,000 souls, only 50 entered the gates of Heaven and the other 1,950 were not admitted. That translates to just 2.5% saved and 97.5% condemned to Hell.
Here's a video where Howard talks about his near-death experience:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UKnwGMG7PHgPlease take Christianity serious, dear friends. I'm talking to both the believers and unbelievers.
Pittman suffered a fatal hemorrhage and—according to his testimony—was escorted by angels to the threshold of Heaven. There, God allowed him to observe the eternal destination of a group of dying souls. The stark 50 vs. 1,950 split was presented as a divine warning about the spiritual state of the world. In his books, Howard's view of salvation emphasized heart transformation vs. intellectual assent:Traditional evangelical teaching holds that a person is “born again” through faith in Christ—often marked by a one-time decision or profession of belief. Good doctrine and public confession follow that inward change. Pittman, however, warned that many Christians rest on a merely intellectual or ritualistic assurance. He boldly compared this hollow profession to a placebo—real in appearance but powerless without genuine spiritual renewal.
He emphasized the centrality of works and genuine obedience. In classic Protestant theology, good works are the fruit of salvation, not its foundation (Ephesians 2:8–9). Pittman’s near-death experience, however, revealed to him that God examined his entire ministry and called his “faith…dead” because it lacked true obedience and selfless love. He insisted that if faith does not manifest in ongoing holiness and kept promises, it cannot stand before God’s judgment.
He warned about lost assurance and the risks of complacency. Many traditions teach “once saved, always saved,” assuring believers of eternal security. Pittman’s vision shattered that complacency. He believed that even lifelong Christians must continually examine their motives and actions—otherwise they risk forfeiting their place at Heaven’s gates. Salvation, in his view, is maintained by a living relationship, not merely past commitment.
>>41211733You reject a God that came to earth and lived and died to save you before His judgment.>>41211737>Is this the same person who has been disregarding all of the Marian testimonies?yes. what use are they compared to His perfect work?>God expects us to live for Him and do good works.sure. but the one True Work has already been done. Jesus Christ has done the only realy work worth anything in this whole universe ever.Only He has done anything. I will die on that hill. His work is everything to me. There is no other to me. I rest only on His work. Without Him i am nothing.
While traditional preaching urges evangelism without hard numbers, Pittman’s snapshot of eternity painted a stark picture: in his vision only 2.5 percent of souls entered through the “narrow gate,” whereas 97.5 percent were denied. He used that ratio to underscore how few truly embrace the costly grace of Christ versus how many settle for easy Christianity.Beyond his teaching on salvation, Pittman also wrote extensively on spiritual warfare, demon hierarchies, and the believer’s authority in Christ."Life is spiritual warfare. If you're not fighting, you're losing." - St. Kosmas of AitolosPlease turn to Jesus Christ for salvation. And once you've accepted Him as Lord and Savior, please make sure you're having an authentic, living relationship with Him, and sharing the gospel, doing good works, and exposing evil.

I am a self ordained priest, I can grant blessings or passage into heaven, if I really wanted. You can ask me and I will likely favor you in a very humane way if you are a good person, I can bestow miracles, but if they are too hard and the reason is not important enough don't expect much. My first act as being a priest was to create new life on the world, something that only very few would even notice, as it is like a fragile butterfly, and I will know what I shall do if anything happened to it. Because as a priest not bound by the church I am also capable of terrible curses. Which I like to do from time to time, as I am also honest about my powers. If no one has really any need of me I will just wander the earth, so you will have to find me telepathically.

>>41212719Ah, if you're planning to expose darkness, you definitely need to get in the habit of praying a lot and avoiding willful habitual sin. When you go after the enemy, that makes you a target spiritually. Please do become better at praying—you can find lots of resources online on how to pray more effectively. Simply put in questions into google, youtube, or chatbots (such as ChatGPT, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) and study and learn from the results you get. May God grant you success in all your good endeavors.
>>41212719>>41214177Lord please keep this anon safe and keep him from the evil we beg you for he is clearly troubled. Please lead him in the right paths and draw him close to you.
Pray that I'll find a Christian qt.
>>41214241The Lord loves to bring His children together to make good families. He did His first miracles at a wedding remember, and models His relationship to us as a marriage! May He guide you to just the right woman of God, and she to you, and make you ready for each other. I know He does this because He did it for me and my wife! In fact, she was praying about her future husband the very day before the Lord brought us together. May He grant you such a meeting because He is the best match maker!
>>41214177I hope that anon is ok. setting yourself against the forces of darkness is nothing to take lightly, as you say. you really have to commit yourself to the narrow path and cling hard to the Lord or you're going to end up joining them. Thats the general consensus from those in that kind of ministry so far as i know. its not a game.
Here's very powerful holy music you can pray along to:Patrick Lenk - Jesus Prayer (English)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GzduFfQxuCYLord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on us sinners.

Help me grow closer in faith and love to God
>>41201663Please pray to God that believers learn some humility by not having their prayers answered.
I just got an email from my pastor, my friend passed away overnight. Only 40. We went to high school together but as is life, grew apart after. When I went to my church for the first time 20 years after high school and he saw me and we were able to catch up and get back in contact. He had just been baptized and was so full of energy always planning Mens church events. He has a beautiful family with 3 young kids. Please pray for him and his family. I will as well.
>>41201663I have been broke for months looking for jobs everywhere, moved to take money in debt for keep studying and I don't see a way to get some income in order to survive. That is the only thing in my mind when I pray, I'm getting desperate for a job-ECR
>>41210825>>41210837its hard to get close to Him, but i will keep trying. thank you anons. God bless you
My friend Daniel lost his wallet last week and it was probably stolen by other college kids. He's a commie and agnostic but I want to pray about it.The wallet is worth by itself with some pictures and his ID, if the money is gone he already made it back.
Oh, I didn't realize I had already shared that rendition of the Jesus Prayer holy music earlier in the thread. Well, it's worth sharing twice. Here's more powerful holy music by the same artist:Patrick Lenk - O Filii Et Filiaehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ao8v3IdjjkO sons and daughtersThe King of the heavens, King of glorytoday has risen from deathHallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah
>>41201676I've seen most of them. They are really great videos.
>>41201767No swearing pls
I asked Grok to collect testimonies from twitter of people healed by Jesus:"Today I tripped outside and fell face first... Afterward I was fighting symptoms of lethargy and dizziness... I called my friend who is anointed with the gift of healing... We prayed in the spirit together. She received a word of knowledge that a crystal dislodged in my inner ear... I agreed with her prayers & then felt the fire of God on me... and all symptoms immediately DISAPPEARED! gone! Thank you Jesus!"Praise the Lord.
Miraculous conversion and rescue from suicide:"I was living an active LGBTQ lifestyle... about to commit suicide... my guardian angel stopped me... I begged God to show me he was real. The next morning I found a rosary... 5 days later I was led to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass by Our Lady... He instantly changed me that day... Don’t ever tell me that miracles don’t happen. I’m living proof they do!"Praise to you, Jesus Christ our Redeemer, and to you, Mary, our glorious Queen.
Healing from severe sore throat:"Last week I had the most painful sore throat... I was asking God to touch me... I woke up Friday morning feeling much better... God healed my sore throat and God can heal you it doesn’t matter how small or big.""I bless the holy name of God with all my heart." (Psalm 103:1, TLB)
Foot and neck healing through priest's prayer:"Fr. removed my shoe and held my foot... I got up later to walk home and suddenly realized my foot was healed! Fr. also prayed over my Dad... Instantly my Dad could raise his head again."Praise the Lord.
Recovery from near-death illness:"I had been lying in a hospital bed nearly lifeless, for more a month... The pastor... lifted me up & prayed for me. Afterward, I fell asleep and when I woke up, I felt much better. IT WAS A MIRACLE."Thank you, Jesus.
Here's another rendition of this catchy worship song:Alan Jackson - There Is Power In The Bloodhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tr_PS_qe6Ks
Witnessed instant healings and addictions cured:"I have witnessed people radically changed in an instant upon submitting to Christ. Some, from a life-long addiction instantly cured... I have witnessed medical miracles that corresponded directly with prayer in Jesus Name, and a woman healed."Bless the Lord.
I collected a whole bunch of testimonies from one twitter thread of people experiencing miracles by Jesus:"I once battled tramadol addiction, lost in pain and sleepless nights. One dawn, I cried out to God, weary and broken. That same week, I dreamed of black bees leaving my body as a pastor prayed. Since then, healing began. No cravings, no pills. Just freedom. God is real."Thank You for Your mercy and grace, O Lord.
"So, as we work together with God, we tell you to be careful. Remember that God has been very kind and He has forgiven you. Do not waste that! In the Bible God says: ‘I listened to your prayer at the right time for Me to help you. I helped you on the right day for Me to save you.’Listen! The right time is now! The day for God to save you is now!"(2 Corinthians 6:1-2, EASY)
"Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth. For I am God, and there is no other." (Isaiah 45:22)
"The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying:“I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness."(Jeremiah 31:3)
Please pray for me. I believe in Christ and know that he does want what’s best for me, but I fall short every day, ask for forgiveness and then do the exact same thing again. I suffer from PTSDish episodes, and also I think I may be incomprehensibly retarded. Please ask God to forgive me for my trespasses, and to let his will be done in my life, as well as others
>>41219380I will pray for you, but please put the effort in praying as well.“Pray as though everything depends on God. And work as if everything depends on you.” - Aurelius Augustinus"Do not let pass any opportunity to pray for anyone..the Lord looks favourably upon the prayer of our love: prayer for others is very beneficial to the one who prays; it purifies the heart, strengthens faith and hope in God and enkindles our love for God." - St John of Kronstadt“If you want to grab God’s attention so He’ll hear you during prayer, turn the dial to humility, for God always works in this frequency; then humbly ask for His mercy.” - St Paisios the Athonite
Here's a testimony I recently saw underneath one of the videos from Delafé Testimonies:"I was an atheist for 25+ years and deeply anti-Christian... I experienced the Holy Spirit... Christ is true and Christ loves us."Praise the Lord.
>>41219454Forgot to add screenshot."If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God." (1 John 4:15)
Best thread on the boards right now. Love you bros, may you and your families live long, healthy, and happy lives. Amen.
Final image of the thread goes to Jesus."We love because He first loved us." (1 John 4:19)God bless everyone.
Threadly reminder the christ cult is a jewish abuse religion
>>41219608Thanks for bumping the thread. Feel free to keep bumping it. You're serving the Lord.
what does it mean to have an encounter with the holy spirit in your opinion? I’m honestly confused about the holy spirit and I always have been. Would love some explanation, or if you could point me in the right direction of where to look
>>41220118Humble yourself, confess your sins to God in prayer, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you do all of that sincerely, you'll start to experience the Holy Spirit in your life.
please pray for me
I just said a prayer again for everyone who visits this thread. Please do remember to pray for yourself as well. And please consider quitting this site. It's overall a huge negative influence. You have to be wary of what goes into your eyes and mind. Sinful things are going to cause misery.
For anyone who missed my previous thread:https://archived.moe/x/thread/41181686/God bless you.
