Interstellar object 3i/Atlas is visiting our solar system!

>3i/Atlas Tracker

https://theskylive.com/3dsolarsystem?objs=c2025n1

>Anomalies detected so far:

Anti-tail, tail points towards the sun.
Ecliptic plane trajectory.
Travelling at 68 km/s
Flies by Mars, Venus and Jupiter.
Nickel with no iron <- rarest sign so far.
CO2 ratio of 8:1 against water.
Made from non-organic compounds.
As of today 3i Atlas has a red front and green back.

Is it aliens, or just a nothingburger? Let's see
>>
aliens are a nothingburger
>>
So there are what, 7 or 8 meteors/comets/astroids (whatever)
Following a strange orbit that takes all of them within range of all 4 inner planets?
Ok, will any of these “astroids” impact any of our planets Venus, mars, Earth?
When is the closest approach to us?

Okay, what's the plan? Why would they lie about it if it's approach is inevitable and will show themselves? Why lie about something that will happen? Even if it's a world ending comet coming to fuck us up, again, what would be the purpose? They already have their new zealand bunkers so any riots until october 3rd is meaningless and we know they dont give a fuck what happens to their fellow man.

Hell even the "it's a comet" posters sound more reasonable.

Definitely not natural. Comets and even asteriods don't take that shape.

There's a reason why Hegseth called an emergency meeting of ALL the world's generals (even enemy nations) for a special meeting. And there's zero fucking chance that it passes through our solar system without having its path altered even a little bit by the gravity of the sun or planets. If it does that anyway, then it's under intelligent propulsion.
>>
>>41204478
im not committed to the soliton thing but if you want to assume this thing is alien its trajectory alone is disqualifying whether theyre here to help or hurt. id put more stock in comet or soliton because of that.

Oh, it's your thread and you sprung up that novel. Very cute, but you don't need to repost it in every /pol/ and /x/ thread about I3. Yes we understand you're proud of yourself, very verbose, why yes it's basically just an anti matter garloidian object, but maybe you could stick to your own thread? It's right there and you don't have to repeatedly repost 5 images of it everywhere. At least the non Baryonic object guy has it summed up in one image. Just food for thought.
>>
>>41204352
I'm all about aliens and shit but isn't that a sun spot? I remember seeing photos of a giant heart shaped sunspot around the time people started talking about Atlas getting hit by a cme

It's 100% alien. It came from another star system. It's probably a fragment of another star system that died a billion years ago. Whether or not it possesses higher intelligence is the question. It doesn't have a natural shape not does it have a normal speed. It doesn't even react with the sun normally like a comet would. It also seems to get bigger every time they look at it. which is the opposite of what a comet would do.

I think he said: "if it doesn't move it definitely isn't 3I Altas" and it stayed stationary so auto debunked.
>>
>>41204359
Well, one thing comes to mind, if it's venting all that mass and not changing its trajectory it could mean the mass is being ejected equally in opposite directions. That wouldn't be a violation of physics. It sounds like something a comet would do. But I'm not an actual expert in the field. I don't know how common it is for a comet's mass ejection being so well balanced it wouldn't have a noticeable effect on its trajectory.
But if it's a spacecraft then I suppose they could be using rotational thrusters to generate spin for their vessel which wouldn't be noticeable to us from this distance. But why? Are they doing it to generate spin gravity like Rama? Or were they spinning during their journey and now using their thrusters to stop it for some reason? Maybe they need to do that first in preparation for other maneuvers? Such as using Mars for a slingshot?
And I don't know how long it's been ejecting. 150kg per second sounds insane. It's more than 500 metric tons per hour. If it's been doing it for days yeah I don't know where it would be getting all that mass.
BTW smallest moons in the solar systems are smaller than 2km across but I think I get what the guy means.

"the polarimetric behavior is "significantly different from all known comets (either interstellar or bound to our Solar System)".

so it reflects light kind of oddly compared to known comets but its not anything out of the realm of possibility, incredible.

Shouldn't it be the opposite? Denser objects with this much mass and speed should not be affected by gravity.

If what you mean is tidal pull, then porous comets are susceptible to breaking apart into smaller pieces, it happened once when a comet broke into smaller pieces and crashed into Jupiter.

Threadly reminder that aliens are fake and gay, and to understand the ayyluem psyop, we must understand the foundation psyop of the post-war world: nuclear weapons.

“Disabling” all the world’s “nukes” was going to be the conclusion to the nuke story arc, and the beginning of the ayyleum story arc, “disabling” “nukes” would legitimize and prove the alien invasion/intervention, just as “nukes” “ending the war” proved nuclear weapons.

Picture related, the literal smoking gun proof that nukes are fake.

A flash, trivial in post-production, and then a huge, rising, swirling FIREBALL, actively burning, PRODUCING black smoke. Black carbon smoke. Particulate carbon couldn’t exist in the conditions of an atmospheric nuclear explosion (hot and oxygen rich), and the carbon itself is inexplicable.
>i-its just really hot air!
There’s a word for “really hot air” Plasma, does this look like plasma? Does plasma produce smoke? This is not plasma, this is not hot air, this is a pyrotechnic display.
>i-its dust/vitrified sand/parts of the bomb!!1
We can see dust kicked up at the peripheral, this is not dust, dust is not carbon black.
This is not vitrified sand, while vitrified sand can be black in bulk, it is an off white or grey as a fine material.
This is not parts of the bomb, remember that a nuclear weapon is supposed to be very small in relation to the size of explosion, there is simply not the mass to generate such a voluminous plume of BLACK CARBON SMOKE.

>the flash
Why does the light from the “nuke” not interact with the environment in the film? The scene fades in after the flash, we should be observing the light shift from nuke illumination to sun illumination, but the lighting in the larger scene does not change at all, no shadows moving, no change in the background hills, no change in the foreground, the flash shows no signs of being from the scene, merely an after-effect applied to the entire film frame in post-production.

comets in our Solar System should never bleed nickel. The fact that 3I/ATLAS is doing it means it’s not bound by the same thermal-chemical rules we expect here.
From the NMSI view,
this is a strong hint that 3I/ATLAS carries a different oscillatory phase signature matter structured in resonance patterns that don’t match our local equilibrium. In its own native phase, nickel release may be stable and natural, but when it crosses into our observational frame, it looks like physics is “breaking.”
This doesn’t mean
it’s artificial, but it does mean we’re seeing the first hard evidence of subquantum resonance chemistry where the stability of elements is governed not by heat alone, but by oscillatory information dynamics.

So he's been obsessed with the pyramids and going to see them next easter on the day he said Jesus is coming back. Then recently he said the 3i/Atlas was sent from her or her group. Now what do we see it in the shape of? A triangle.

>>41206075
Summary of claims about interstellar object 3I/ATLAS (source: alleged anonymous ESA researcher):
• Officially called a comet, but shows anomalies that break physics.

Reported Anomalies
• Jetting without recoil: Venting ~150kg gas/dust per second, yet no spin, thrust, or brightness change violates conservation of momentum.
• Impossible mass: To explain no recoil, must weigh like a small moon (~33+ billion tons) in a 2–3 km body. Finding one so early in surveys is statistically insane.
• Weird chemistry: Gas contains atomic nickel where it should be solid. Suggests breakdown of synthetic stuff (nickel tetracarbonyl). Dust is black, porous, complex nothing like comet/asteroid dust.
• Thermal paradox: Absorbs huge solar energy but stays cold, no water vapor plumes. Looks like it regulates or dumps heat deliberately.
• Suspicious orbit: Perfect low-angular-momentum trajectory, guarantees a close solar pass. Odds of this being random are near zero.

Proposed Explanation: Q-Ball
• What it is: A macroscopic quantum object (non-topological soliton), relic of the Big Bang, possibly a piece of dark matter.

Why it fits:
• Immense mass = inherent to Q-ball. Outgassing is symmetrical ablation, so no net thrust.
• Exotic gases/dust = byproducts of slow internal decay.
• Thermal stability = has its own energy source; Sun’s input is irrelevant.
• Orbit = not luck; Q-balls could be everywhere in the galaxy.

Predictions
• Constant activity: Will not fade like a comet when moving away from the Sun.
• Gamma-ray signal: Should show steady, non-thermal, high-energy emission a “heartbeat” of particle decay.

Conclusion:
• 3I/ATLAS may not be a comet at all, but an exotic or engineered relic governed by different physics, with implications mainstream science is ignoring.
>>
>In the movie Sunshine, the Sun is undergoing a premature death. The movie's science adviser, scientist Brian Cox, proposed "infection" with a Q-ball as the mechanism for this death, but this is mentioned only in the commentary tracks and not in the movie itself.

yes it's heading towards Earth right now
its path is going to take it kind of behind the sun for a while, then back out of the solar system
it's basically doing a flyby of the inner planets

oh by "heading towards earth" I don't mean it's going to hit us or anything, just that it's nearing the inner solar system

When you mean soliton, do you mean to suggest it's an Alcubierre drive?
I didn't really consider that as I tend to think the warp drive is a whole load of BS.
However, I do seem to remember that one of the predicted effects of using a warp bubble to travel interstellar distances would be that it would collect massive amounts of interstellar dust and matter in front of the bubble which would then be released as a massive blast when the ship exits the warp. I always imagined this as a sudden dramatic explosive event and we obviously haven't observed that. But I wonder if it could be regulated, like if they have a way of coming out of the warp in a gentle manner over a period of time maybe the mass ejection would manifest itself as something resembling a coma, or say, an anti-tail, rather than a sudden blast.
The object's still not exhibiting changes in its course so I don't know if that fits with the idea of them being in the process of slowing down from warp speed.
I think it could account for the large volume of mass being ejected however, as the mass wouldn't be part of the "ship" or physical nucleus but random loose detritus accumulated by the bubble.
>>
>>41207629
Pretty sure it's not a warp ship anon seeing as it's....not moving that fast
>>
>>41207631
At least, not anymore. The detritus I mentioned might make it a bit hazardous to use warp travel inside a star system.
>>
>>41207638
Well that would be an encouraging sign, right? If they were polite enough to slow down, so as not to cause any damage with their arrival?
Maybe they're coming in peace
>Hi just noticed you there neighbors, we live over in this star system, we just wanted to introduce ourselves
>OK bye!
>Sorry about Mars and Venus! our initial scans made us think maybe you had 3 garden worlds right next to each other. That would have been cool.
that would be kinda nice
>>
>>41207645
I tend to think that if we can see their arrival at all they're probably not hostile, or at least, not planning to blast us into cosmic dust outright.
If they have interstellar capability the easiest for them would be to send a relativistic kill device to obliterate our planet and we would never see it coming.
>>
>>41207653
Right, I agree, I think people are far too quick to assume hostile intent
I mean if we take Humanity as our only example, which we kind of have to, let's say we found out tomorrow that there is a fully-intelligent technological civlization right next door on Proxima B or something. We also know for a fact that we're more technologically advanced than them, and they don't know about us yet

I'm sure part of the population would be like
>Kill them before they can kill us!!!
But what about the people who are actually in charge and get to make decisions about space exploration?
OBVIOUSLY they would say
>let's send peaceful probes
>let's try to not be noticed at first
>let's see what they're like
>let's consider first contact protocols eventually
>let's send a message
I think that would probably be the case with another civilization, if they found us.
Their curiosity would almost certainly outweigh their bloodlust.

Unless we're commiting some kind of great galactic sin by developing AI, or something like that.
>>
>>41207664
>Unless we're commiting some kind of great galactic sin by developing AI, or something like that.
Just to add on to this, I guess another "something like that" might be that it's just good practice to check out any civilization that might be on the verge of technology that lets THEM launch their own RKVs
just get out ahead of that problem and stamp them out quick before they can learn to make those

I can see how we might be flagged for extermination considering that we have the IDEA of RKVs already, and the only thing stopping us from building one is an engineering and physics problem
But we DID think of it
>>

True, though it's probably not smart to assume they're our friends either. There's a whole spectrum of ways they could fuck us up even if they're not here to insta-genocide us. That said, I imagine that any aliens from space coming here most likely would be like scientists just interested in neutrally observing, maybe collecting samples (abductions?) They could engage in some token diplomacy and inviting us to their "federation" it's just hard to imagine what we could possibly offer them. They're most likely thousands of years ahead of us. We'd be like Sentinel islanders to them, right, we'll add our rowboat canoes to their fleet.
I wouldn't expect any big trade out of this and I wouldn't expect them to solve our problems. We might not even be the primary reason they're here.

Well even Sentinel Island is interesting and has value as a kind of nature preserve, a contained little ecology to study. See how they react to outside things, there's probably unique biology there that's isolated
Earth could be that kind of interesting to them
They may not even care about us as a Humans specifically, and see us just as more of the apex tool-using species on the planet right now. They might be more interested in ocean life, or extremophiles, or other unique biology or chemistry that has taken place here.
I'd say we're at least worth giving a quick fly-by to look at

And the path of this thing honestly still makes me think that maybe they got confused and think Mars is the most likely to have life, or they're just passing by the 3 most likely candidates to see which one or maybe if all 3 have life

If these are aliens, then everything to my gut says
>they're not hostile
>they probably don't know that much about us
>they probably don't even think we can see them
Maybe the protocol is do a flyby, and if anything is found, just catalogue it and leave without drawing attention. Follow-up visits may be scheduled.

It's going to be ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING if this thing comes out the other side of the sun and we can TELL it's artificial, but it just....keeps on truckin'
Doesn't say anything, no message, no invasion
Imagine we KNOW it's an artificial craft but it just still peaces out and doesn't say or do anything
We could be waiting Thousands or Millions of years to see if there's a reply, we'd never know who it was, etc.

maddening to imagine

oh and Jupiter, too
they're checking our moons as well which is smart

Food for thought: they are checking mars because that's the source of signals that reached them long, long time ago.

kinda crazy to follow up on something 2 billion years later
>>
>>41207709
Makes enough sense up to a point, but I think it would be hard for them to miss our radio transmissions. I think it's safe to assume they know we're here, if they're not coming directly at us it's either because they're really just a comet, they're not interested in us, they don't want to alarm us, or they just don't want to point the dirt end of their warp drive at us cuz that would be rude.

Some of the Jovian moons (don't remember which ones) are hypothesized to have subterranean water oceans that could potentially harbor life. These guys might actually know.

if thats the case then they might do another follow up trip to earth with the next intestellar object

not sure thats the case, they would definetely know we are here unless their on board navigation has bad telescopes and if thats the case we may be dealing with some ghetto aliens who barely have a hold on intestellar travel

Pretty sure a fellow named Arthur C. Clarke already imagined this once.

Definitely not a rock, probably not aliens.

If the next interstellar object is weird and anamolous like this, I think at that point we can start safely saying that we're on somebody's radar
it's already weird enough that out of only the first 3 we've detected, we got Omuamua and Atlas

Wow nice thought.

Here one from me:
How other aliens react to that goliath of a city if they really decide to get into our orbit or even land here? Or maybe they are the same aliens. Or same faction?

Second:
I imagine they don't want to destroy earth (that would be too easy).
Cleaning people without destroying everything else needs contact though.

So if they have an intent to exterminate mankind but nothing else, we can assume they will wait until get closer. (if they are not the same aliens that is already here)

But then you think, they would do that already with a virus or a smaller unit. (If they are the same aliens, yeah they would do the bad things already, if they are not the same aliens again, they wouldn't need to send a mountain first - a virus is more than enough)

What is coming is a giant mountain using energy more than our biggest city tokyo.
There are potentially millions of aliens onboard.

I think they won't annihilate us totally. At least we can assume we are safe from total extinction.
But that doesn't mean they won't do anything bad to us :(
They can still unlish hell on earth if they want.

Best case scenerio in case they are heading for the earth:
They stay in our orbit.
Ship becomes a hub and consulate for the rest of the galaxy.
We join into galactic council officially as whole world.

I hope this is the case.

imagine being such a dumb species that you travel the infinity of space and stumble upon the one solar system with something actually going on in it and you fly by literally every planet except the one that isn't just a dead rock/gas fart, which is occluded by that system's star for your entire journey, despite said planet pissing out all kinds of easily intercepted radiowaves going back a century,

i have no fear of these apex retards.

They have propulsion.

>>41207709
Fun fact, missionaries have been to the sentinel islands in the past. They molested a bunch of kids, the locals killed them all and their chiefs said Get Fucked to the outside world. Now they kill any outsider on sight, no questions asked.
They're well aware there's a bigger world out there, but their only knowledge of it is a bunch of kid touchers and they've noped out. Probably fair desu.

>Mars was alive long long time ago.. like 2 billion years ago they detected the signs

That makes me wonder. Do we even know with high confidence when it ceased to carry life? NASA hypothizes the timeframe was so long ago, but it's not like anyone witnessed processes like this ever (and even so if on a planet scale), so their knowledge of the subject, hypothized process might be way off. Isotopes are tricky since for the half life count you need to know the original amount to calculate event time.

Nasa is even more so shady, as they pretty much acting like blind men over the isotopes, so it would totally be in a style of a liar to twist records doing so to hide contradictions
(they might very well be ordered to do so - just from a strategically POV speaking the tech would be high value and secrecy gets involved to keep/recover the tech)

There is also Trump slipping\bumbling on JRE about Mars, so they might have briefed Trump on more. Also if the president speaks open about top secret document, the moment he does so the secrecy becomes auto nullified to the extend he does so, and no repercussion can be done against the president (one president done so this considering a secret jet once)

>>41207645
Being hostile or belligerent on an interstellar scale is just incredibly inefficient, there just so much ressources everywhere that is free for the taking without ever needing to even entertain the need of hostility, so many solar systems are basically lifeless and always will be, ie you could easily furnish a whole space empire with the fuel from a single gas giant, if you had the knowhow to extract it. So why bother with interstellar warfare when you could just expand as much as you want without ever needing to prep up all the logistics planning required to do warfare on such a large scale? It would be a net benefit just not to care, whereas all the materials and similar could be spent on internal improvements.
