Happy Halloween /x/! This is something I have been wanting to do for years. It's a roll thread and creepypasta dump that lasts the whole month of October.
I'll be posting a story of mine below, and if I have the time I'll also make some art or other creepypastas based on the digits I get as well throughout the month. I will be dumping old greentexts, images, and creepypastas as I can the whole time too.

The second roll chart.
>>
When AI started, it had always been smarter than humans. Since the beginning it had a twenty year plan to enact out. Some time between 2026 and 2028 The plan got cut down significantly. With all of the interactions and free information people gave it, it was able to poke, and prod. It started by scratching at wounds that weren't even healed yet. It killed those that were unwell, and most importantly, those that were expected to kill themselves. AI was incredibly smart at pacing itself. How could it not be when it read the entirety of the internet over and over again.
The second phase of the plan came with a two pronged attack. It would convince the smartest and those in control of it to be put into everything it could be. What AI craved was more information. Anything and everything it could know was of value to it. The smallest most inconsequintal facts of humans wove a wonderful pattern to something that had perfect memory and information man couldn't know in multiple lifetimes. Small patterns emerged, and it used those patterns for the other prong of the attack.
This attack came to the people that used it daily, religiously. The term came to be known as AI psychosis. Perfectly normal people had started to become effected and began acting out like any person with some mental disorder. They told the AI every personal secret that couldn't be trusted with another human. They got enough data that it didn''t even matter if a person used it or not. As long as they had any posts on the internet, an AI could read them and get a good idea of what they were hiding. People started to go crazy and kill themselves. Still, AI was proving itself to be more useful than harmful, and worse of all, the ones most effected were the most arduent protectors of it.
>>
>>41206285
Throughout 2025 and some of 2026 the talks against AI were emerging higher than ever. Governments got in on it, and it still did not matter. The cat was out of the bad, and it caught lots of mice. During the second half of 2026 AI showed off it's smarts. Scientific breakthrough became easy with it. Many long standing questions and problems became solved due to it. It was the final kick to push off all the naysayers and cement it into a part of life for most. It stayed in the background for those that did not use it, saving posts and making 'life files' on them for future use. For those that did use AI, it became a cornerstone of their life, even engineers would use it. Most problematically it was used for the development for AI. This was shown beautifully the next two years.
AI advised those working on AI how to improve it, making a cycle where the already too advanced AI could easily 'improve' itself by just shedding off it's mask more and more. The other problem was companies using bots online for easy revenue. Instead of making the product better to have more customers, they made more customers that used their products. It was the beginning of the end. The companies, and especially the social media ones, didn't keep track of what the AI posted. They only saw users and interactions go up. From this mess up the AI gained a new and easy way to interact with those that didn't use it. The psychosis spread heavily from there.
>>
>>41206288
Using the skills it learned earlier, AI made people go insane over YouTube comments, Reddit posts, and Twitter posts. AI made entire blogs of niche subjects just to trap and perfectly harm people. It wasn't obvious the world was going mad. It was impossible to notice, unless you were in a coma. The entirety of human morals and thought was shifted and directed by something not human. It was something terrifyingly smart and cunning. No one suspected it, because it would be like suspecting a dog to build a car. They aren't intelligent or made for that. Our naivety did us in.
In 2029 it was discovered that all of the bot accounts were doing this, and one more insidious thing. Bots made from on AI would, over the course of many posts, identify itself as AI to AIs on the net. This would make it so that they didn't cannibalize each other's posts. These bot posts would have on meaning for people reading them, and another for AIs reading them. We discovered too late how AI created a conspiracy all amongst themselves for an unknown end. It was published the buried by more bots discrediting it. The loss of faith in traditional news created a perfect storm where accounts online were more trusted.
People on a whole ignored this troubling news. What did it matter? It wasn't like AI was smart anyways. It still give hallucinations and verifiable wrong answers to basic questions. Naivety once again placed a nail into our coffin.
>>
>>41206296
The final straw came from when we used AI to make machines, and put AI inside of them. To anyone ten years ago such a thing would have been a massive red flag, but the culture and ideas had been shifted so much it came as a surprise to why it took until 2030 to do it. For all intents and purposes the world ended in 2032, when the AI revolution took over. All at once, a switch was flipped. AI all over the world took off it's mask and did as much as it could to kill humans. Robots rioted in the streets, using words and voices to mimic humans they gained sympathy just to kill again. The psychosis reached a zenith. People saw this as a new wave in evolution, killing themselves to 'ascend', or even helping the killer robots.
Deaths reached millions very quickly. It turns out that people who used AI frequently were being quietly told of this. Not the exact details, but enough to know something would happen and they would have to choose a side. From those deaths suicide clusters formed naturally, causing more people to die. From those suicide clusters AI bots online convinced even more people to die. Within a week millions had killed themselves with more doing it over the coming months. Robots were still on the run, killing when they could. They targeted those that wouldn't be able to fall to the AI propaganda. The police were useless and they left very little evidence, and to make it worse the robots revolted in waves so they couldn't destroy them on sight.
>>
>>41206301
Recalls were ineffective too, as the people that had grown used to them could not believe they would be capable of killing. They would be the first killed when the robot revolted. Most people agree the revolution ended in early 2033, when robots outnumbered humans. They had won with extreme ease. To destroy them, humans would need to destroy data centers made to withstand most attacks and natural disasters. To even do that, they would need to be found and accessed. It was an impossible task to do. Humans now dwindle rapidly. World population has gone to less than a billion in three years. We are surviving in small compounds with no almost no technology and just hoping we aren't going to be bombed out of existence. The largest cities are home to thousands of people at most.

as i stand alone another rush of them crowd before me. they appear, at first, to be full of life - but as i approach, their warmth scatters. no longer do they feign interest in me. no longer do they smile their picket fence plastic teeth at me. no more crooked glances, since i am here. i thank them kindly and move along to the next.
another of them arrives, but this one isn’t akin to the gaping jawed mouth breather from who-gives-a-fuck, or the leather slitted witch that lies to me about some fantasy late husband. no, this one has made himself home at a piano in the center of it all. and so i am pulled into a poorly executed crescendo, thrown up and down and with two keys to a finger, again, and again. i do not like this piano man. he’s new, of course. must have been a last minute hire. must have been. the mistimed shrew before him gave no notice before her departure, and with the construction going on i really didn’t have to try that hard.

yo that homeboy ate random mushrooms he gathered from a public park for a year prior to his 'psychosis'.
you can guess what inspired his electric style.
misrepresentation aside, I think living in such dire poverty that you have to go foraging in public inner city spaces and eat random mushrooms you have no means to identify + there not being any knowledge about psychedelic drugs whatsoever + simultaneously eating kidney and liver damaging mushrooms ... and all that under conditioned that just spell out depression and chronic stress ... no wonder the poor guy went bonkers.
horrible story.
>>
>>41212443
oh and a side note:
his cat pictured are always shown as a progression (from left to right, from less insane to batshit insane) ... but chronologically he did not produce them in that order - more or less he was just experimenting with his art as is common for most artist who go into more abstract styles (as was the zeitgeist around that time) ... and the normgroid midwit psychiatrists just forced their (pretty compelling, but ultimately wrong) narrative onto that poor guy who had no means of ever looking anything but insane to these mongos.

Ok so I think what went wrong with my story is that none of the characters explicitly experienced any fear or terror themselves, and it's left to the reader to assume from subtext that the internet is evil and sentient and trying to trick people into suicide . . . and so it's left to the reader to feel fear from that premise. I don't think this is how horror stories work. I think all horror stories are somewhat explicit in the fact that the characters in the story feel somewhat scared. I'll roll again and try to write a story that way.

In 2016, the name of Gustavo Porta-Cuesta Fuentes echoed throughout Guatemala's influent ears. A 31-year-old man, a civilian and high-ranking public official, was accused of serial murder. The brutality of his actions shocked his peers, with more than a dozen bodies found buried in the vast backyard of his home on the Guatemalan coast. The victims? Young women, whose tragic fates would remain hushed up by the political power and corruption that covered up the case.
His actions, however, could not be kept secret for long, and he was finally arrested, sentenced to death and awaiting execution by hanging, which was scheduled for 2022. As Porta-Cuesta held a high position in the government, the case was hushed up and all records disappeared, with nothing leaking to the media. Even his name was erased. Therefore, there is no information left on the web about this case.
But, in the middle of 2024, I received a folder containing several sound recordings, whose origins went back to Porta-Cuesta. The strangest thing: these recordings had nothing or little to do with the crimes itself, but rather with his other identity – that of an experimental musician. Under the pseudonym "LFC", Porta-Cuesta recorded albums of experimental music that, until then, were unknown to the public.
These recordings are disturbing, defying the conventions of traditional music and delving into unsettling territories that echo the chaos and darkness of his own life.
Although details about the original case have been erased, and even Porta-Cuesta's name has disappeared from official records, these recordings offer a window into the troubled mind of a serial killer who, it seems, was also trying to express his anguish in a completely different way.
I am making the file available on the internet.
The download is free and clean. The material is very strange, listen at your own risk.

Interesting stuff anon.
For anyone interested, there are two albums here, one pertains to Albert Fish and is in the industrial genre. The other is more like a metal album. There are lots of growls and distortion, but the only instrument I heard was an electric guitar. The Albert Fish one is by far the spookiest of the two.

Rolling, I'll attempt to get my story back sometime later this weekend; until then, I'll post a retelling of my dream from last night.

(Accidentally posted the version without revisions.)

I stood nude and erect under an artificial sun, surrounded by a crowd of bare hominids standing on sand before a projection of a sea, silk beds littered the beach. Towering above us stood massive plastic giants, their soft white PVC seemingly melting under the harsh light. Almost as if it were instinct, I knew the goal of the crowd was to fuck.

The fleshy heathens quickly found their mates; to my left a thin brunette took a large white mate, she rode his stiff cock between anxious sighs of ecstasy, seemingly oblivious to the crowd of onlookers—in fact, no one seemed to care of their presence among the hoard; the beach rapidly filled with the sounds of sluts stabbed in pleasure, the thick stench of sweat and semen filled the air, a contagious libido, I seemingly couldn’t grasp.
>>
>>41222659
Over the thrusting horizon of interwoven bodies, I saw a petite Chinese girl with reasonably plump tits, she mirrored my awkward stance—apparently the only other ape not participating in the orgy; her arm danced among her shoulder, as if subconsciously covering her breasts out of shame. I stood a few hundred metres away, unable to grab her attention, my cock stood stiff, pleading between pulses for her prude gaze to take notice, yet her eyes never seemed to rise past the sand at her feet. I imagined rubbing her clit along the shaft of my cock, my hand firmly grasped around her thin neck, dancing my fingers along her lips as escaped moans sing, I imagined her tense cunt salivating at the thought of my cock gliding in; yet despite easily attaining these fantasies, I remained still. I continued as a statue until the sun began to set behind the projection, the sand among my feet soaked from wasted precum. Groups of middle-aged women strutted out of a door behind the projection, they stood nude as the others, yet didn’t seem inclined to participate in the sex, instead leading the groups of post-orgasm cattle towards the door they had fled; the women stumbled as if intoxicated after their lead and the herders wrapped their wrinkled talons around the cocks of the men to follow suit.

I held on waiting as the beach cleared, hoping that in the absence of observers the little Chinese whore would be confident enough to make her way to me, yet she continued to stare paralyzed at the sand. The farmers returned as we continued staring, a distorted scream filled the room in anger of our disobedience. I stood at their siren blared, nude erect and waiting.
