What are the paranormal implications of yearning for rain and water? I have loved the sea since I could remember, the rain has been a close friend of mine. If I had my way I would live in the sea again. Picrel is the most relaxing thing I can think of. the majority of people I know see rain as an inconvenience which always confuses me. It seems silly to the point of warranting a deeper look. Why does rain make others gloomy when it makes me energized and hopeful?

>>41232613Water is the best thing in all creation. If you could see outside the matrix, outside the cave, you would see a barren wasteland. Water is femininity, water is intelligence. So everyone in this hellhole is hypermasculine, and very stupid.
>>41232613You probably need to somehow get closer to nature with as few humans as possible around you.
I always yearned for deserts. Mojave Desert and really hot, barren landscapes like that always interested me and made me feel like it could be home. I think it was the pristine cleanliness that a place like that might have. Something about purity.. the honesty and hardship that land would produce. Honestly, I never thought about it much.An important point in this is that I live on the West coast of Scotland. A lot of rain. So you should move there if that's what you like. I also hear places like Phillipines and around there get crazy rain.
PetrichorAlso rain is biologically satisfying/genetic memory because it means your crops won't die annd you have water
>>41233358Interesting fact about the word “petrichor,” it comes from “petra,” meaning stone, and “ichor,” meaning blood of the gods.
>>41232613people typically like sunlight and the ability to move around outdoors without getting drenched or having to carry an umbrella or raincoat. many people when indoors find rain comfy just like you, but it's a bit of a pain if you have to go get shit done. idk how this is silly. also on a side note and possibly more paranormal-related, I have also been drawn to water most of my life, I love sitting out on the beach or on docks in fishing areas, anything by water. on the other end of the spectrum, I also was always drawn to large cities. I never knew why, then at some point I learned that the city I was born in, where I did not grow up, I was just born there and maybe spent a year there before moving, was a large city literally directly on the ocean, like you could walk from skyscraper to beach in a couple of minutes. could be a coincidence but idk.
