Without free will, you wouldn't be able to correlate the contents of existence. You would not have concsciousness. So for consciousness to exist, so must free will. If free will exists, then good and evil must exist. If good and evil exist, then there will be bad things and good things. If there existed only good things, then good things would not exist at all, for there would be nothing to measure them by. Therefore, nothing would exist. So, for anything to exist, there must be consciousness. Since consciousness must exist, things must exist. Since things must exist as a result of consciousness, and consciousness is a result of both good and evil, then things will be both good and evil. Without good and evil intandem, you would not have the ability to even question these matters, and so you would never be able to know good.
