i remembered this last night and i need to get this out there somehow.

>be myself, 4th grade at the time
>around noon, everyone in school is being taken to a standard fire safety assembly (this was planned ahead of time)
>the auditorium looked very similar to picrel
>everyone gets there seats and there are already three nondescript looking men on stage, none of them clarified if they were firemen or not
>the "main" one who did most of the talking was a guy with short blond hair and zero facial hair, looked to be late 30s
>talked about standard fire safety shit. dont use elevators, stop drop and roll, etc.
>eventually, they wanted to demonstrate how to use fire extinguishers
>there were three for each man on the stage, and they called up students to be volunteers
>two boys and one girl go up, all second graders, the girl goes to the blonde guy to help her work the extinguisher.
>the two boys get their extinguishers ready to go very easily, but the guy and the girl seem to be struggling with something
>lots of whispering and fiddling with nozzles, its like some sort of unexpected issue with the extinguisher.
>suddenly, the extinguisher spurts out a jet of powder. not the usual shit youd see out of an extinguisher, but a blinding white powder
>it doesnt linger in the air at all, it falls straight to the ground
>immediately after this, the three men, two boys and the girl become totally silent. they stand up still and begin staring into the audience
>everyone in the audience is equally silent
>the blonde guy has lost all emotion he previously had in his face, hardly even blinks
>a moment later, everyone and their teachers simultaneously stand up with their students and silently exit the aud in single file lines
>i had to follow bcuz i didnt rly know where else to go
>return to classroom, lessons start back up as if nothing even happened
>nobody talked about how the assembly was cut off early or why the three men just stood and stared
>never saw the girl ever again
