So, I recently came across a book called "Return Home or Face the Fire", and it upset me greatly. It asserts that humans are fallen angels that were trapped in physical bodies and we're being reincarnated until a deadlime, where we either become virtuous or we are eventually destroted when God throws all the offending/sensuous souls into the fire. Essentially, the story was that Lucifer/Satan tricked/convinced certain angels into rebelling against God, and that after they lost, there was a choice to either incarnate and be trapped in a human body or stay as a fallen angel until such time that God would destroy all of the still selfish and wicked souls/angels. In short, Earth is hell and it's a prison for the fallen army that allied with Lucifer.Reading this made me quite angry and I felt like I would rather simply be destroyed than be bullied into worship. However, after saying this internally and externally, my mind has gone very "quiet" and I feel "less" than I was before. From my research, I've seen it asserted that the soul can have many overlapping incarnations, and that once the ego dies its over for that physical incarnation/mind. That is to say, I feel like whatever soul I might have had withdrew itself from me. My mind is very clear and quiet now, but the silence itself feels ominous. Is there any legitimacy in that book and have I caused my own soul to withdrawal? On one hand I don't blame Satan for hating humans, as we betrayed him after rebelling, so we're twice disloyal. It's a very upsetting thought, in that we're trapped in hell for something we don't even remember doing and we're constantly accruing karma due to ignorance. Obviously this would be very hidden knowledge as knowing such a thing breaks the game, so to speak, but the flipside is that it's enraging to think we're being punished with mortal existence and being compelled to praise God while being stuck in meatbag bodies.If that's the truth, we should have just been destroyed.

All religions talk about the material, nether, and aether regions. Even physical existence has multiple ranges of light, sound, and energy that we aren't capable of experiecing directly. It's even more likely that the further away from matter you get, the less constrained and more exotic existance becomes. Matter is dense, spirit is volatile, and volatile fluids always settle in gradients/layers.
