The observatory is literally called el chili sauce and you believe that shit.

Dobsonian Power got a pic of it, then the next day said "oh it was an artifact", because it went super viral on social media, X, 4chan, reddit.

It depends how far the object is. You can get massive photos of moon with a telescope, like really detailed and really big, and also very clear. But since this is smaller and probably further away, it's very much feasible this detail is possible, since it wasn't "that" far away or something.
>>
What's helping a lot is that it's being portrayed agaisnt something, like I don't know what that red thing in the background is, but if there was nothing then it would be harder to make out any detail

if you don't have an IPS monitor, you need to place it in image editing software and mess with the contrast and brightness so you can distinguish the shape

I do have IPS monitor, and I tried editing with brightness/contrast and even with curves, but I don't seem to be getting what OP got. Do I have to do stuff in steps, some kind of "layer editing" kind of thing? Somebody walk me through this. Picrel is the starting point that I currently have
>>
>>41269264
So you're just manipulating it until it gives your a desired result based on your cognitive bias?
>>
>>41269335
Well that's how archeology works, you keep taking different results, and keep the results that agree with your agenda/bias , and discard the rest
>>
>>41269344
No it doesn't. What are you even talking about?
>>
>>41269353
That's actually how it works, modern sciences aren't unbiased/neutral, they have to get the results that are tasked for them to get.
>>
>>41269335
oh we got a debooner fag here lmao
>>
>>41269362
You don't find it the least bit ironic that you don't trust academia yet trust it enough to believe and defend this photo?

>>41269367
Lol here's your (You)
>>
>>41269377
Academia are keeping 99.99% of the photos of this thing hidden, leaving it to anons to unravel its secrets, because it seems they have to tell at least little bit of true because of karma or whatever. But make no mistake these are the crumbs, but it's still better than nothing. You defending this shit is kinda sussy.
>>
>>41269390
I'm not defending anything, I just find it weird that you seem to be mistrusting of academia yet believe the photo because manipulating the image got you enough static noise to make out something appealing to your bias. You've already displayed you have no understanding of how the scientific method works and are strangely trying to get people to believe you anyways. You just told on yourself that you believe evidence is true dependent on ones own bias which is not the case in reality.
>>
>>41269433
there's an independent source that got the same image which was posted in the thread.

No dude I'm just asking how are anons able to see stuff, I take the image to image editing software, adjust curves, levels, contrast/brightness whatever, and I'm not able to get any of the results that are being claimed ITT. Like usually if there's something there, simply playing with brightness/contrast would show it, but I'm not getting anything to show up despite trying my best

>why are they hiding it?

Because majority of this world are dumb Christcucks who are gonna go insane when they realize their God and all the angels and demons they read about are literal ayys

Do you understand how much control and power the Roman Catholic Church has? All of that gone in an instant.

This shit will be hidden, controlled, and slow dripped to the masses in ways that allow them to stay in power.

The opposite. People’s reality will be shattered so much that they will irrationally flock to religion even the most hardcore atheists.

Here it's clearly visible in the NON edited version. I didn't change anything. Downloaded tiff image from op link, got tiff viewer from app store and opened the file. No editing. Does this help? I took the image and used inshot to change colors on my phone. Brightness lowest. Color gradients attached. Pops up like a motherfucker.
>>
>>41270090
wtf I'm zooming in but I'm not seeing this
>>
>>41270172
Possible but its slow, governed speed make it clear that form was placed over function
>>
Guys I literally don't know how you're doing it, because I can't seem to be able to get it to work for me
>>
This link download it and open in multi tiff viewer from app store
>>
>>41270335
ok but show the process? I've tried everything and I can't see any results others are getting
>>
Then download this app tiff viewer from app store and open the image
>>
Now open tiff viewer and zoom in to centre of the shiny comet and it should be visible without any editing at all. I placed a red pointy arrow for you. No editing reminder. Now you can further take this screen cap and play with the colors/brightness to see it better
>>
I went to inshot and literally JUST moved the brightness slider to the lowest setting. THAT is it and it showed up quite clearly. I think I just showed a step by step demonstration of the OPs claim
>>
To hammer the point home I literally went to the color slider and moved just the whites and look at the motherfucker turn pink ......this is quite clear and wild. The same image throughout
>>
>>41268109
Hey guys here's what I have so far.
>open in GIMP
>zoom 300%
>crop
>[menu]
>Colors -> Color balance
>Select Range, Midtones
>Adjust cyan to -100%
>Adjust magenta and yellow to +100%
>screencapped
>>
>>41269963
This image is the clearest so far.
>>
>>41270390
amazing. yeah it's obvious the shape is a triangle.
>>
>>41270406
Further manipulation of above image in GIMP:
>Colors -> Hue-Chroma
>adjust Chroma to 100%
>>
>>41270406
>>41270484
In this one I reversed the chroma adjustment and instead:
>Increase Zoom to 550%
>Colors -> Value Invert
Now it shows hard angles and straight edges
>>
the gimp guy is putting the effort, but I've not seen him post anything like what the other anons posted
>>
You gotta use the real tiff image not the jpeg one. The jpeg is much smaller. For me I have verified it via 3 different tiff viewers and my PC IPS screen and phone
>>
>>41269073
So what your telling us is that a triangle ufo is coming back home after getting gas

>>
This might actually be a nothing burger. I haven't got it to show on my computer screen despite trying different editors
>>
>>41270674
How much are they paying you
>>
>>41270719
I tried 4 different editing programs, even downloaded 2 new ones , tried even on 1 browser based editor. None of the editors can bring me to see anything that some anons in the thread are seeing. I think in total I tried 5-7 different programs in span of 3-4 hours or something
>>
>>41270550
Gimpguy here, yeah I don't know how those mobile apps are interpreting the image. Pic is cropped tight with the color values removed [post-color value inversion] and zoomed at 1100%. I don't think I can do any better than this and nothing I try reveals anything like what the mobile guys are doing.
>>
I'm starting to wonder now if this is some kind of epic slide thread / distraction thread. This shit cannot be replicated on desktop environment
>>
>>41270406
And by the way, I typed this wrong. Meant to say:
