Hey /x/, I haven’t posted here in ages, but I’m back because I need your expertise…I’ve been a garbage man for 9 years and have had the same route for 7. This morning, I was running my usual Monday route, and something seriously spooky happened.I don’t know how to explain it because it doesn’t make sense. I got to one of my regular streets, and where there used to be houses off the main road with gravel driveways, all the houses are just gone. In their place is a freaking warehouse. Here’s the weird part: this isn’t a new warehouse. It looks old and abandoned, like it’s been there for 40 years or more. This is a rundown part of town, so it doesn’t look out of place, but it wasn’t there before. I know for a fact there were houses there because I’ve been picking up their garbage every Monday for years.I need to stress this isn’t new construction or anything. It’s like the warehouse has always been there. What could explain this, /x/?
>>41276667you went down the wrong street probably after smoking too much meth
>>41276667well where is it lol
>>41276667go back to redit
>>41276715City in North Carolina >>41276728Go back to the law of attraction thread and try to manifest a girlfriend
>>41276667Don’t garbage men usually work in crews? What did your coworkers think?
>>41276763No the garbage and recycling here use automated trucks with side arms like pic related. In the business we call them one armed bandits. I can ask the guy who runs the recycling later or the crew who picks up yardwaste.
>>41276744Have you tried visiting it on google earth or maps? Seeing different years for example, or if it's blurred, covered. Would be an interesting research I think
>>41276779Yeah I’d be interested in hearing what they think as well. For what it’s worth, I believe you. Maybe you timeline shifted or something.
Yeah, something like that happened to me before, but turns I was wrong. Maybe go back out later on and check to see if its still like that. Your company would have records of those houses being there for their trash pick up. Talk to accounts. Oh and thanks for keeping the streets clean.
>>41276785Just did and it shows the warehouse… but I’ve been running this route for years and there’s even an old black lady who lived at one of the houses who would give me 5 dollars every Christmas and ziplock bags of grapes during the summer.>>41276818When I see them at the end of the day at the office I’ll ask but trying to think of a way not to sound skitzo.>>41276835I would not have any access to these records but I’m sure of the houses. Also on another note any anons looking for a career municipal garage man is great. Good pay, overtime if you want, great schedule, great benefits
>>41276667I had something similar sort of. On the way back to my house from the mall, there are a series of turns I take through neighborhoods to cut across town. I knew the route by heart. One day two of the turns switched places so that the one that used to be first is now second, and the one that used to be second now comes first. I thought maybe I was misremembering, until my sister who was in the car with me said something about it (unprompted) like “hey didn’t that turn used to come first??”
