You seem to be fretting over this a great deal. By any chance, do you feel pigeonholed into the IT field simply because you're good with computers or is it a real passion of yours? I can assure you that there is no shortage of work in either field, but competition can be stiff for the really good positions if you're a recent graduate looking for an entry level position. My advice would be to keep an eye out for job listings and consider which field would be the best fit for your lifestyle and cultivating your passions.
