I no longer fear death, but crave it. I cannot wait for it to happen. I cannot wait to collapse from a stroke or heart attack, or for a doctor to say I have cancer. I will smile and be full of joy in front of such a doctor. Until then, the days drag by as I am forced to live (because suicide might result in a negative afterlife). Death brings you to the real world, this one is false.

I really don't want to die, I'm not ready for it. However, if some terrible illness did befall me that meant I'd have to spend my final moments, potentially months or years, in agony then I think I'd top myself with some strong sleeping pills and heroin after making sure all my affairs were in order. I quite regularly have dreams where I'm dying too and they're awful. I wake up feeling terrible all day when it happens.
I can't wait for it. Anything is better than this world.

when you want or welcome death, it eludes you. isn't it strange? look at this recent death, a former athlete, age 41, father of 2-3 children. he's only a few years older than me, already won at life and is retired. but he died due to a genetic kidney disorder. he reached out and despite his access to a huge network of "nfl fans" no one could save him. despite his success and access, as well as assumed wealth, he ultimately died. meanwhile there's a bum on my street who is much older, is a raving lunatic, and he's still alive and healthy. or me, i'm not much younger than him, only by a few years, i also drank a lot due to depression, and i'm still alive.
each of us are meant to live a certain life, maybe until age 25, or 46, or 88, whatever. the "life script". you can change if obviously by feeling intense self hatred and going the kms route. or you can just not care like OP and not fear it, which may lead to higher risk-taking behavior. also keep in mind there are ppl who attempt sui and fail at it (lulz) and end up in an even worse state (brain damage, for example). if your life sucks right now you have to either just make small and big changes, or just live with it and play it out.
