I'm not super familiar with the mechanisms of these things, but I have always wondered if they actually work as mediums of some sort or if they are just false positive generators. There's a ghost in my sister's house and I'm curious about methods for communicating.
an emf detector will literally only tell you the relative difference in strength between its calibrated "zero" setpoint and a series of measurements of the magnetic field. i see no reason to assume ghosts are inducing magnetic fields, its not like they are simply charged particles moving back and forth for our convenience at finding them.

The problem with an EMF detector is in the modern age there's so much that sets it off so who can say for sure that you're actually getting a ghost. I've seen a lot of spirit box stuff that's too specific to be coincidental but that doesn't prove anything either. Could be a coincidence

>>41355419a no idea , I am an absolute dumbass as a medium. maybe I could tell you more in 2 years , I mostly want to keep away from ghost so I don't look out for ways to get away from them. in theory , I could give you some books about it but , you know be carefull about schitzo books and all of that. I mean logically speaking , what I would do if forced , would be trying to use a somewhat soft traditional stuff , but I would problably use EMF detectors with other stuff , to try to find a place with "soft ground". so like , try to use something like EMF along side similar tecnology to find the ghostests place , then from thier look at the entire place , using whatever mistical way I have of looking at the situation.to the redify the situation and the use the MEF and similar tools , AGAIN. with a new perspective of what should be the ghostest place.and repeat to at least try to map out the place.but again , I am a little out of my dept.
