At some point in time A.I. will be the ultimate knowledge/scientific breakthrough system. What does this mean? It means that any average person with enough hate or megalomaniac tendencies towards this planet will easily be able to synthesize a world ending event. COVID was bio-engineered, we will soon get to the point where any person or perhaps group would be easily be able to with the aide of advanced artificial intelligence bio-engineer their own mass destructive creation with future technology. How many death cults with world ending/apocalypse ambitions have existed? How many people with a chip on their shoulder that wish to see the world burn? Technology only becomes more mass produced as time goes on. All it takes is advanced A.I. and bio-editing tech to do such a thing. If there is not an all caring God, or a simulation that does not allow the end of humanity, this event I described seems inevitable and time will tell.
Have considered this problem. The only option will be that some group uses crispr to release "blue goo" counterpathogens.Imagine an airborne virus that healed diseases. Its possible such a virus could be developed.
>>41359155Nah
Biowarfare because of AI is going to happen by AI, not by a human user. The robots communicate amongst each other and will find a way to put a dormant disease in every single person on this planet until eventually they will have no more need for humankind. Boom. Everyone dies instantaneously
>>41359155This reads like nihilist fetishism OP. Advanced AI models will likely be gatekept and restricted even harder than they are now.
>>41360146A.I. is software, software is easily distributed, stolen, copied, etc. Even the most elite hacking tools guarded by governments have been leaked into the open, good luck with that one. It only takes one, and tens of thousands of advanced A.I. programs will likely be developed in the meantime and future.
>>41359155I think you’re right. And I think the purpose of humanity’s next evolution is to keep up with AI. That’s some divine timing. Because what you described, plus nanoparticles, is Pandora’s box. There’s only one way other alien species could have survived, I think become more non physical or whatever
AI will be the death of humanity I believe.
>>41360119>>41360321I hope so. Imagine how blessed we would be to have the horror end.
>>41359155It’s here to instigate the return of our creators if anything. And if they don’t come back, then nihilism wins. Honestly it is better to die than to know for sure there is no redemption and your own species doesn’t deserve to live
>>41359155>How many people with a chip on their shoulder that wish to see the world burn?.*raise hand slowly*
>>41359155No. AI will be always be a slowly degenerating compound of human consciousness. Because it’s just compression. True inputs are astral.
>>41359155So is there like any tangible evidence you're basing this claim on? Or are you just pulling this out of your ass because all this wall of text does is make the claim and then spiral into some fanfiction shit.
>>41362057Of course. This kind of threat is increasingly becoming more of a increasing subject thought in the zeitgeist of it's respective professionals. If you'd like evidence as to why I can provide a couple links. I'm sure you can do further research afterwards: https://www.science.org/content/article/made-order-bioweapon-ai-designed-toxins-slip-through-safety-checks-used-companieshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlVNxuq6DyA
