If they are so powerful they shouldn't need anyone or anything to serve them or worship them. In that regard any God that requires such insignificant beings as us to venerate and honor them is a pathetic loser not worthy of my time. They can try to frighten me with displays of power, but they will never get me to sincerely worship them. Tell me, do you require the germs on your face to worship you? The skin mites who feast on your dander and sebum? Do you even notice them? When you wash them away with soap and water do you do so like a wrathful river deity of old, or does the thought even register for you as a destructive act? We are but microorganisms in a much, much larger body - so vast we cannot even fully fathom that we but the mitochondria within a singular cell
