This one is pretty crazy so get ready. Forget about the wokeness of the show for a moment. The plot weirdly makes sense to what is hovering about in the astral. For those unfamiliar:>backwater planet left to die>trouble getting rid of it>they come here to fuck shit up>turns out the sibling of the bosses is still here and alive>relations get fixedDo you think some ascendant of aliens is still on Earth and might have broadcasted to Homeworld? Me just knowing Korea was involved in making this show had me already questioning(if you know, you know). This show had no business talking about things like this, and the weird phenomena they show in the first season is also well based on what is on the show itself. There is a layer of normalcy laid onto it but buried deep unique material is shown.
Every good story is based on something that is fundamentally true and real to most people.

>>41371859Several of the Gem-world equipment has aesthetics that resemble a virus structure. It’s neat
>>41371212This show is subtly an inversion of Christianity as well, specifically a "positive" antichrist story.>Light based, immortal beings called gems that have a strict, orderly society where everyone has roles to fill (angels?)>Leaders mimic God, Holy Spirit and Jesus (White Diamond, Blue, Yellow) but also Lucifer (Pink Diamond)>Pink Diamond like Lucifer rebels against her sisters and wants her own world (which happens to be earth)>She eventually goes against what she's supposed to do to earth and "frees" other gems into letting them do whatever they want, their new logo being a star (pentagram)>Pink fakes her death and takes on a new identity (something Lucifer does plenty of times) and eventually birthing a son which shares all her abilities>This son, Steven (antichrist figure) has miraculous powers and can even reverse death, just like the AC can allegedly do. He soon becomes the most powerful gem to exist.>End of series is him turning the God gems onto his side and convincing them to be okay with the unnatural relationships (cross gem fusion) and freedom of roles (going outside your natural function in the name of "freedom")>In the epilogue miniseries he also literally becomes a sea beast of revelation at the very endWild stuff
>>41372148It's actually just bog standard SRA / MK MONARCH systems. Like, at a glance. ctrl+f "gem" through UW ozian's chainless slaves, or springmeier's stuff. Preverbal core splits are often disguised as inanimate objects, gems, placed inside marble worlds, w/e.
>>41372148>>41372148>Steven (antichrist figure)Which is funny as they put his dad in the yellow blanked (Mary symbolism)
>>41372148>>41373172Insane. How have I not noticed this?
>>41372013>Several of the Gem-world equipment has aesthetics that resemble a virus structureBecause they are viruses upon mankind. Smash the gems, space war now!
