As much as I love eating meat, especially fish, I understand that in Gnostic belief, escaping this reality requires letting go of earthly identity and physical nature, which also means releasing attachment to things like eating. However, I find Gnosticism too vague, and my own interpretation of truth is that the forces keeping us trapped here are not so different from us, what I meannis they’re the same as us, just that they know the truth and are actively using it to their advantage to keep us trapped here for “looshing”. Now this is something I’ve been thinking about, and that’s I think their body hoppers using either engineered bodies or stolen bodies. I think “they” laarped as the gods, champions, and beings of old, but I do not think they are reptiles or demons(but demons could absolutely exist a lot of ancient cultures that predate anything abrahamic speak of them). But for a lack of a better term/name for them, They are human. I believe that after a certain point, one can create an avatar or form through which to experience things, and I still believe in reincarnation and the existence of an ideal world. I just feel that Gnosticism divides things too much and lacks clarity, perhaps because people back then didn’t have the modern understanding we do now. In the end, though, I think everything will work out in our favor, if that makes sense.
