Is TRE the only way to clear trauma from body, or are there easier ways to do it, and more effective or faster ways?
I have spend 1000s of hours researching this, no cap. The truth is, TRE is not very effective, maybe if you are lucky and it works for you but for majority it won't be enough and it can take years. EMDR is better but still has some risks. Revision by Neville Goddard seems like a good option. Embodied Processing also seems good, just started researching it (feeling old negative emotions and processing them)There are other, more extreme options like psilobycin and ibogain but shit is too extreme and can cause perma side effectsOh and Emotion Code/Body Code by Bradley Nelson seems like a good way to clear all traumas but can't guarantee. Also, EFT Tapping with a good practitioner has high (80%+) success rate, not standard but 1hr+ long sessions focusing on clearing memoriesThere's more but this is all you need to know desu
>>41380362not op, thanks anon. what has worked for you personally?
>>41380256Practice walking backwards. Put your mind into your legs. A lot of trauma needs to be walked out, and walking backwards gets you accustomed to the feeling of retreat. You need to be comfortable backing down from things you can't do anything about to move on.

>>41381528Can you elaborate more on this concept/technique involved, how to pull it off?
>>41381640Most people knee-jerk against backing down. It insults their pride. Walking backwards lets you get used to the idea in a non-threatening environment. Then the next time your trauma wounds are bleeding you won't just continue to fight on impulse. You'll be comfortable with the idea of retreating from a problem you can't solve. This means when you're walking backwards you need to focus on the way it makes your body feel. Hold the idea of retreat not just as a symbol in your mind, but as an intuitive feeling you can tolerate and accept. Spend at least 30 minutes each day walking backwards, and even more walking normally. Walking sideways can also provide benefits, but I don't want to go down a different rabbit hole right now.Walking itself is important because some kinds of cognition can only happen when you're moving. Squats and the like are also important. The key thing to understand about walking is that it gives you familiarity and confidence in your legs. That's the strength to get out of a bad situation, and that's the confidence to enter bad situations without fear.
TRE is extremely effective but if you do it with any seriousness you end up on a whole journey with it as you become very aware of where you are in your nervous state in any particular situation. I have done shamanic and somatic therapies for a good few years now and for most people a blend of somatic and talking therapies work well. Add to it meditation, good exercise food and water and shadow work and so on. If you are that way inclined plant medicines have their place if they are done responsibly. You’re official TRe line would say that the kind of cathartic release you get on Ayahuasca and some other entheogens or with deep breath work and so can essentially just re-traumatise you so you don’t necessarily get the benefit in terms of regulating your nervous system.I will give you some tips though that have cost me thousands in time and money and ended up with full connection with the Godhead / Brahma / Void or whatever you wish to call it. Mainly…in terms of releasing Trauma it is all about surrender. The more you can surrender the better…do it sensibly and incrementally over time so you don’t burn yourself out. What is surrender and how do you do it? A difficult question. Essentially you need to recognise where you have built barriers, where you inner child is holding a gate shut, where you have stifled your authentic self because it was unsafe to speak out or society thought it too dangerous or annoying. Find the tensions within your body and to what thoughts they relate to, what memories they might have shut away. You must create a space and time where you feel truly safe with yourself so you can forgive and let the energies of trauma be acknowledged and then be let go of so you can re-integrate the parts of you that have been lost.

So meditation and consumption of soda (coke or pepsi) to get old shit in the system to move.
