Hello, I had a random thought today that I wanted to share.If reincarnation and past lives is real, and you happen to be living an empty depressing life, you could call it a shadow lifeImagine an other life in the future where you are a happy family man married with children and a good career, lots of friends, a regular happy life (like your boomer parents had). This life you are living now would be a forgotten dead man, and you might get a few glimpses of this life in dreams, but you will never even realize it was your past life. In your future happy life, you encounter situations where you hesitated in your past life (approaching women, asking them out, going for it, working hard) and you have a kind of instinct that leads you to proper action. You would never realize that that instinct comes from your past life where you were severely punished for failing to act.Does anyone get what I mean here? So if you live a lonely empty life now, it could be a shadow life, that merely serves to give you stronger instincts in the future.it's a very creepy depressing though. It makes your current life feel like a kind of empty husk.
I have a feeling that this life doesn't count, it just a tutorial or loading screen. It is just a cope to deal with the emptiness of my life.
