When I was a kid I read in a book that before the universe was the big zilch. I tried to imagine it, picturing the universe condense into one ball, then I removed the ball and there was just darkness. Then I realised the darkness wasn't even there and I tried really hard to imagine it gone and after a while something clicked and the darkness disappeared then there was a literal explosion of light that started at the bottom of my spine and shot up into my head and all I could perceive for probably half a second was that ultimate light. What the fuck was this and is there a scientific explanation?
