I haven’t been mine’s student in years which helps with my circumstances, but when I was he would let me talk on in lecture and correct other students since I actually worked in the subject he teaches. One time he had to emergency leave before a class and so did his adjunct help, everyone put me in charge of lecturing his class for the time being until a sub could come in.
