An entity shows up and goes through the effort of making herself known, then you don't even know if you're interested in a spirit relationship with anyone. It isn't something exciting for the succubus, but I completely understand why you're hesitant to jump into that. You could put in your letter that you want a provisional relationship/a succubus who will respect if you change your mind, but then you could just ask for a succubus who's everything you want her to be. The best alternative to writing a letter is asking one of the queens directly to find someone for you, but that'd require you to talk to one of them and that's harder AND if you frivolously change your mind that could get you in trouble in a significant enough way there could be consequences.
