Avi Loeb interviewed by Dobsonian Power:
https://youtu.be/8XTvA_2FEvk

>Confirmed Anomalies
https://youtu.be/m40gXjIu1x8
>Estimated size
1-5km diameter (at least)
>Estimated Mass
33 Billion tons
>Probability of retrograde inclination of 175.11°, almost perfectly aligned with the Solar system
0.2%.
>Cumulative probability of making close approaches to Venus, Mars, and Jupiter.
≲0.005%.
>Probability of being mostly masked from Earth’s view by Sol's glare at perihelion on October 29, 2025.
7%.
>continued data silence from all space agencies

>Check the zeitgeist of /pol/ and /x/. Must be interpreted strongly:
https://schizodot.wtf/

>Other oddities:
The IAA SETI post-detection protocols just updated first time in 15 years https://arxiv.org/pdf/2510.14506
No one able to pin down the size and weight of 3i
Trajectory not being affected by Sol like a typical comet.
A large amount of UAP's or 'drones' have been sighted since 3i detection
More comets entered the inner solar system since 3i detection
Increase in solar activity, NASA caught scrubbing/altering data on its Solar Observatory website
Large magnetic field anomaly in south Atlantic region growing

It's not a rock. (2)
Was the temperature increase not enough?
The gentle alignment, directly on the plane of your planets?
The sudden brightening? The steady, rhythmic acceleration?
Two witnesses, crying out in a silence for all to hear, falling on deaf ears.
How many anomalies will it take? (17)
It has completed the release of built up toxins harmful to earth life.
It has been bathed in your Sun's plasma, cleansing the impurities that may have tagged along.
The path is intentional, designed for maximum safety and prolonged exposure to your observational equipment.
Think-- an object from interstellar space coming directly to an inhabited planet, without first wiping its feet off on the doormat?
That would be poor manners.
We have been telling you for decades.
Now that it is here, you want to feign ignorance, but you know better.
Nuclear testing restarts why? War, or study?
The US and Russia will not be provoked into MADness.
How far into this movie do you think you are? (4)
Keep watching. Keep taking notes.
Keep sharing observations.
Be the flame in the darkness.
If you listen closely enough you'll hear that this isn't silence, not totally.
It carries the tune of anticipation.
Some are joyous over this-- pay attention to who. They are innocent.
Some are fearful over this-- pay attention to who.
They have reason to fear. (7)
Everything in the Dark eventually comes out in the Light.

Found this profile posting in the recent Avi Loeb article. The linked site contained some interesting material. Not saying much about it because it was above my retarded self, but figure it was worth sharing.

https://medium.com/@cfrazierii/3i-atlas-past-and-current-data-analysis-report-detecting-communications-1c80fb45847c

Did get me back to some of my earlier thoughts regarding the Fibonacci Sequence and possible communication. Came across 'Zeckendorf Encoding'. I even had AI compile binary using the code and the English alphabet.

Someone with more skills regarding transmissions might be able to use that information to go rogue and break SETI protocol for laughs.

Though it's probably already been thought of...

Don't mind me, slowly losing my mind while playing the waiting game.

That sucks, hope you get clear skies soon.

>>
>>41425103
No idea what the difference is sorry

The telescope is my late best friend's, he loved space and shit he knew all about it. Me on the other hand I'd just tag along whenever he'd go looking at shit in space, seeing distant galaxies is cool as hell, it's just very tricky to pull off, it's sensitive and since it's all analog any tap on the telescope tweaks it out. 3I should be visible around 5AM it should still be dark by then maybe it clears up in 4 hours, ill see if it's worth dragging it outside then
>>
>>41425180
Astrophotography is when you attach a camera to a telescope so you can get pictures of your observations. Astronomy is finding and just watching.
Sorry to hear about your friend, enjoy the sky watching and good luck

>>
>>41425203
Oh i can do both, he had a kit to attach cameras and phones to it so I was gonna try do that.

But i just asked gemini 2.5p to do some math and apparently we can't see it zoomed in like in those fake pictures, not even with hubble, allegedly cause i dont trust these llms

"Resolution" in astronomy is measured in arcseconds. (An arcsecond is 1/3,600th of a single degree).

The Target (3I/ATLAS):

At its closest (270 million km away), the ~5km nucleus would have an apparent size of roughly 0.004 arcseconds.

Your Telescope (8-inch Sky-Watcher):

Its absolute theoretical best resolution (the sharpest detail it can ever see) is about 0.65 arcseconds.

Its practical best resolution, limited by Earth's atmosphere, is more like 1.0 to 2.0 arcseconds on a typical night.

Hubble Space Telescope (in space):

Its best resolution is about 0.05 arcseconds.

The Conclusion

The object you want to see (at 0.004") is 162 times smaller than the absolute finest, most perfect detail your telescope can theoretically see (0.65").

It's also 12 times smaller than what even the Hubble Space Telescope can see.

So, when you use your 4mm eyepiece (300x), you're not magnifying a tiny spaceship. You're just magnifying a 0.65-arcsecond blur spot into a very big, fuzzy blob. To see the shape of the nucleus, you would need a space telescope with a mirror at least 12 times larger than Hubble's.

Kind of unfortunate but I still want to try see it even if it's just a speck

Alien ships are bigger inside than outside.
Maybe Atlas have another solar system inside it, and is looking for a place to release it. Hence the anti-tail, that's anti-matter needed to hold a solar system inside it. It looks weird, but anti-matter negates entropy by inverting inertia and direction of force.

I don't have the means nor know-how to transmit a signal carrying a message though. Might be a fun "exercise" for some anon. (Up until they get dragged off for SETI protocol violations, allegedly)

That's how I've always viewed glowniggers. There's no way the actual posters are men in suits working in the pentagon or whatever.
Its likely one real actual agent who is in a group chat with a bunch of super low paid retards that are simply told where to derail. If they get super stuck they can ask for help on what to say but they're kept in the dark about as much as possible at all time. I've seen picture shills here posting messages they meant for the chat here instead of thee before. I also imagine much like call center webchat services they have some kind of tool or basic AI guide that gives them go to responses and basic "shitposter" grammar, hence why they blend in relatively fine when derailing but their actual natural communication skills feel like their ESL.

You can test different results on dpreview studio test scene, with the "dim lighting" selected (lamp icon) to see better how the cameras react to low light conditions (less light provided, the more different things start affecting the noise of sesnsor). There might be other objects/items to see and compare on the scene (especially for color), but I've liked looking at the king of clubs card, see the details of the card, and on higher iso settings (3200-12800 range) how much of the details remain, and how much of the background becomes noisy. I haven't done astrophotography so I don't know how important high iso settings are, since maybe you don't need to use that high shutter speeds even so you never need to compensate by raising iso too much?

And while the crop thing of m43 can be nice, I do think that modern FF cameras (especially with high megapixel) might've caught the m43. I don't know the math, but I assume modern m43 don't have high enough resolution sensors to be able to compete with modern FF sensors (since they're no longer stuck to 36mp), m43 would have to be 30mp or more I think, but they aren't. Only thing "for" m43 is being able to carry less heavier lenses (usually for bird photography), but for stuff like astro or other stuff where the camera is on tripod, I think FF is going to be better everytime (higher resolution in general means better capture of fine detail, so higher mp is always better).

>how and when to contact aliens?
If the aliens had any common sense, they would contact other non-demonic people directly and discretely. but his assumes that they have been monitoring us for centuries and are not also demonic.

Sony makes a 50 megapixel 4/3 sensor but hoards it for applications where it would never be realistically used (they claim it's only for "security cameras" but no company on Earth has the bandwidth for a constant 8k CCTV stream)

50mp on m43 would be cool to see, that would probably bring the benefits of crop sensor back to m43

If you wanna save bucks, and use the camera mostly for cityscape, lanscape or astrophotogrpahy stuff (so no need to track flying birds or fast moving objects with modern AF algorithms of modern bodies), I guess you could also opt for some old used DSLR that still has a mirror
