But I prefer to think of it like "you don't know if the person you're sending magic to has herself much stronger magic than you, or is protected by something that will absolutely find you and tear you to shreds". FWIW, I'm almost certain that my use of sigil magick is what led us to bond and connect in the first place. I've also done love/connection candle rituals where the behavior of the flame leads me to believe we absolutely still desire each other.
