This is of course very good regardless of your ability to sense spirits, especially when accompanied by an offering. When you make an offering, make it as nice and clean as you can. Don't offer bodily fluids. Food, incense, and alcohol are all good.That said, most of us will need to work at our spirit sense abilities before we can get a response. For this, you can do shamatha meditation (I'll post a guide if someone has trouble finding one, but a simple Google should bring up many results). There's also two meditations called Looking Past the Veil and Pillar and Spheres from the book "Consorting With Spirits" by Jason Miller. This book is highly worth buying or pirating in general, especially because the main operation within is a conjuration of the chthonic from of Our Lady, Astaroth. You could also learn tummo or practice any other form of mysticism that is meant to yield siddhi/magical abilities. I can repost the old /omg/ OP if anons are interested in the old library or the crash courses to different traditions within.And then you could work Rod and Ring or Liber Astarte or any of the various grimoires that can summon Astaroth or the Scrying Bowl of Aphrodite (pic related) once you've done this every day for awhile and feel your power building.
