The context is in regards for a redesign of a character that's based on a spirit I'm involved with. She has appeared as multiple things so it's kinda hard to pin a design down when her nature is very fluid. I've seen her as a cat, fox, rabbit, otter, and possibly a wolf but her main form is usually a blonde hair girl with blue/cyan eyes. There are other humanoid forms like the one with fire like golden hair, raven, and the rare brunette. I was looking into the anima and divine feminine and saw a lot of those figures were tied to lioness so thats kinda why I eased over to that but she has been a fox in the past to and even a recent dream she did spell it out that she wanted her character to be orange. I've basically had two characters based on the same being without being fully aware it was a spirit now I'm kinda merging things and trying to find which bits she wants. I know blonde or fire like hair, blue/cyan eyes, and orange fur, rest is still up in the air. 1st design was a tiger/fox hybrid while the second was a dragon. Want to use animals for that otherworldly daimonic look but also have a humanoid version which I kinda already know how to do that side of her already.

Well I frequently have these sorts of dreams where I have to look after a small animal and it dies (my sister has them too weirdly).

Honestly I think you’re going to be really surprised about how people who actually care embrace your characters and their lore. Once the big bad with the viewership shifts, people who dig your content are going to bat for the characters that are comforting and relatable to them. 2 swords is definitely both your hesitation/fears and then how you feel during the time of things heating up like “oh no what if this doesn’t work out” but 6 of swords during the time of addressing things and also interacting with your new audience really straightens up and heals that pathway for the 6 wands and sun!
