Without resorting to calling them schizos, why do such a small minority of people have direct experiences of God? Atheists haven't experienced God and most religious people have faith somehow without experiencing God. Have you had any experiences that confirmed your believe in God? I experienced God and that's why I believe.

Everyone tacitly knows they are God but they are playing the part of someone who does not know. In a sense they are better at the game than us beyond they are pretending so hard they actually believed the act. You have to burn through the ego quite harshly to get through certain obstacles in God realisation. Because the ego wants credence for even remembering it is God. It’s maddening because IF you make the realisation you are God ( as in have the experience of being everything…not just intellectually approaching it) then what do you want credit for? It’s so alarmingly obvious. There are only so many reactions people can have to you telling them the truth of the matter and they are generally unsatisfactory to the ego:1. They call you crazy or heretic or some variation.2. They go….”Finally you’ve figured it out. Well done, who’s a clever boy?”3. Whut???You’ve figured out the grand ultimate secret but it has NO worth. And that is the insane beauty and absurdity of it. That’s the cosmic joke.
