Is vampirism real? How does one go about becoming a vampire? Is it even as desirable as its made out?
>>41510208>Probably not but if so, global power structures revolve, to at least some degree, around keeping it a secret (and it is small enough in impact to be kept secret)>Unlikely that could ever happen, even if rea. If real, different species at the very least. Probably just human myth>Nothing is ever actually desirable if it needs to be made out that way
>>41510234Different species how? Never human to begin with?
>>41510208Vampires no longer exist, thankfully They were from a past civilisation and were most definitely not cool, in love with hairy dog people or blood drinkersBlood alone can’t sustain a creature that big, not that they were giants or anything, they did consume humans thoughThey were soldiers, they hunted at night, consumed anything in their path, had amazing powers of recovery, quicker reflexes, stronger and senses way beyond oursThey were designed that way, it’s the infection thing that fucked that civilisation up, they couldn’t breed and even their creators weren’t stupid enough to make them deliberately infectious, that was just one of those thingsDon’t get me wrong, it’s not like they were giving the “gift” to others, they would eat your face off firstIt just started happening, probably through water etcThe infected didn’t turn into fully fledged vampires but were close enough that they could be safe amount themThe infection is still out there though, that’s the weird thing. The case in Bulgaria, I think, was as recent as the 18 hundreds and the guy that investigated it for the church resigned after it and fucked off with his family. The lesser type appear now and again, as I say but I think water had a lot to do with it and now everyone drinks treated water, it seems to have vanished
>>41510327That's my personal guess based on the way biology -seems- to work. I'm not a hard materialist so I am willing to leave room here for parabiology but the digestive changes alone would probably be too much. If it could be done, the ability to change one's body to a completely different digestive life support system would probably be a bigger discovery than the vampires.
>>41510208>Is vampirism real?Probably not.>How does one go about becoming a vampire?Well, you have to die under certain conditions...>Is it even as desirable as its made out?Hell no. People think vampires are just gothic immortals, but they're not.
>>41510208Socio-economic vampirism is definitely real if you know what I'm saying
