I made a thread about this before.
I said it's a dangerous mindset because it conditions people to think "Not CGI or AI = Real".
I explained how glowies can and will take advantage of it in coming years.

I am making this thread again because the whole James situation is a great example of this.
Many people believed him because

When all he did was to press a fucking light switch. Stage magicians do way complicated things in front of dozens of eyes staring at him from multiple angles, yet we cannot grasp the idea of someone pressing a button on a POV livestream...

This is what happens when people are conditioned to not think outside the CGI box.
One retard from Milwaukee uses a basic ass practicle effect (if you can even call it that) and the whole internet believes the shit they're seeing.
