I am asking this here because I think that there may be just the right person with the right words around.
But basically, I have recently been trying to leave NEETdom and I have been struggling with the consequential quantization of my time.
Before, it was sort of peaceful.
I did whatever I wanted and I felt fairly content, a lot of the time.
Now, things are zooming by. It feels like I have become a kleptomaniac for time, like no day has enough hours.
I can't do what I want and I fear spiritual injury from that, given long enough. The deadlines and insecurity about the future give me anxiety.
I would like to know about any practices, sentiments and ideas that you good people have encountered, which may help with situations such as mine.

You see time in the day and not time in your life.
You may not be able to do everything you want. Prioritize what matters.

Seek out pain and suffering and challenge

When you are under extreme pain time will slow down and every second will feel like a minute, every minute like an hour

When you are under extreme challenge with consequences your brain will fire on all pistons and you will feel mental aclarity like you would never believe

I have this thing called a painbrush, it’s basically a toothbrush but j use it just on this rotten tooth of mine. I found it is better than coffee and cigarettes for keeping me awake when using. If you use too much pain your nerves can swell though, i had the half of my face swell up for about 30 min

Well, for me, I try to just have x,y,z things i want to get done for the day and after I accomplish them I can chill and be satisfied..a big one being working out. Usually as long as I get the workout I planned in then I can chill and feel I did good for the day.

I think if you are trying to build a business or make as much money as possible and have the mentality "time is money" then the desperation you are talking about is probably useful although its a stressful way to live.

If you've known the NEET life then you know what its like to be okay with just NEETing it up. So, maybe just try to channel that carefree attitude toward how you view things without actually sitting on your ass all day, and be grateful for the small improvements you make instead of getting too much ahead of where ur at.

To gain satisfaction look at all the progress you've made compared to your past self, don't compare yourself to others, and "give yourself a break" when you need to. Tomorrow's never promised, it really isn't, the best thing is being able to sit in peace with yourself and your life now. If you believe in anything spiritual have faith and trust that things are coming along at just the right time...there is so much beyond our control, wouldn't you agree? I try to have faith in the forces outside myself that are way beyond my control are working with me build my life little by little...im not doing it on my own, ya know?

time is speeding up bro

Yea get out a stopwatch and count 1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi with your eyes closed until you get to 10.
Then look at the stopwatch.
Time is about 50% faster right now.

Then look at the split seconds pass on the stop watch.
Time was likely adjusted just the same as everything else in the Mandela effect that's been going on.
Or our perception of time was adjusted.

Well that's the theory anyway.

You don't need to do this, you can just meditate, all the pain will come at you in short time and your days will turn into weeks, months even

Yep.

I used to have a time sigil, that lets you “slinkey” time, it’s very possible. I’ve lost the sigil, but you can do it. Use a swirl loop in the middle, that was an aspect of the sigil, you can crunch working time and that will stretch non-working time so you can do more things. My advice would be to kinda “set it and forget it” but “doing it live” is also possible and how I did it. The shape of a snail shell, slow, the shape of a whirlpool, fast.

Good luck, I stopped using it because it was actually fucking working really well and other people around me noticed and it was almost like lucid dreaming where I did it so much that I just kinda stopped doing it.

I do the same with my rotten teeth when I need pain but instead of a toothbrush dedicated to it I just let Satan and other demons squeeze my gums and teeth with psychic powers. Hurts like hell, there's no drowsiness or complacency with that kinda pain around.
