They can use guns. Don't be fooled by any sluggish, dopey movements. These things aren't like the other shambling retards, they're more like idk. Puppets, I guess. There's something inside them that can think. Like us, but unnatural and evil. It's not just the basic instinct and hunger of the typical zed. Typical zed's an empty shell, no soul, no thoughts, nothing. But these abnormal ones... At first I thought the zeds were learning, but I've found out from a contact that they don't. Sure they come with some habits, residuals from when they were alive, but they don't start tapping into whatever is left of their brains and start regaining memories and abilities. Becoming a zed is a one way trip. I'm starting to think this is something else entirely. Think I've also broken my own rules. I've gotten complacent, tricked myself into thinking I know everything about the new world. And now the world is pushing back on my arrogance. Figure this is the last wake-up call I'll ever get. Also it's hard to believe, but I've seen them come in dressed like normal people. Worked with a guy for a few years, he got done in when a couple of them dressed like deer hunters approached us. Shot him in the throat with startling speed. When they wanna move, they'll move. Fooled me too for a split second but my gut told me to dive for cover. They're not perfect, especially not up close with how they look and smell, but if you hesitate like my partner did... then it'll be too late. Good news is that they seem to go down just like zeds. Heavy trauma to the brain. Seems to snuff 'em out quick. Don't bother going for any other part of the body unless you aim to completely break down the entire body so it can't do shit, but only take my advice with a grain of salt. I don't know what I'm dealing with here. Not yet. It's always a risk posting here but I hope this helps someone.
