Seeing the sage anon thread from the other day has changed my perspective on a number of things. It is not that we live in a torture prison created by the demiurge. Rather, we are in a dream world of our own creation, and the demons, archons, demiurge, whatever spiritual entities we and everyone else encounters are all just part of that dream. The law of assumption and any magic we manage to bring about is merely us taking control of the dream, because we are the dreamers. But because we are not lucid dreamers, we are still limited in our capabilities. You do not turn water into wine because you do not think it is possible for you. You may understand conceptually that this reality is fake, but you still accept it as reality.Gnosis is to remember what it is to be God, but more accurately it is to remember what it means to not be asleep. Recently, my body was in a half asleep state and I attempted to peer beyond the veil by completely eliminating the concept of self. Eliminate the dreamer from the dream and you have no dream, and thus wake up. I was repeatedly yanked back into physical reality by my spirit telling me it's not time to do that yet, and that gnosis can be achieved after the physical body is dead. That my purpose of being a watcher (a role I am told by my mother who can remember both of our past lives, but which I do not understand because I do not remember any of it) should be fulfilled before I decide to wake up.And now I'm just... somewhat confused. Is it all this simple? Total ego death = escape?
wake up to what? i mean do you think it is meant to be understood as though you have a true self in some realer true world? where you even have a mother? and maybe from that work you can wake up again to an even realer world?
