Why is existence such a paradox?

How can something always have existed and never had a beginning? And if something never had a beginning that means it will never have an end. And if existence did have a beginning that means nothing existed to make it exist in the first place.

Spirit is not "some thing" spirits are not "things" meaning matter. So it isn't paradoxical to understand Spirit Is. Spirit is the context within and from which, all "things" emerge, including time.
