Do demons appear as spiders? Several times I've experienced hypnopompia after a very disturbing dream I would see an almost translucent spider crawling beside me on a wall or on a ceiling. Can't be a coincidence, I don't even have arachnophobia or any fear besides some disgust for larger spiders. Intuitively it felt like a device used to monitor and prey upon my mind, like a remote control arachnid from a sci-fi movie. I don't know, if anyone has any insight into this I'd like to hear it.
