if the 1969 moon landing was a lie and most lies made up by our Gov'nt are distractions from something else, what were they distracting us from at the time?

>>41522913The moon landing was meant to distract the American public from red scare 2.0, the success of the Soviet space program, increasing social upheaval during the civil rights era (COINTELPRO ops against civil rights organizations and leftist movements) and the fact that the us treasury was bankrupt from the Vietnam war, in part due to France making a play on the precious metals market during the Vietnam war (Vietnam was a French colony).The US went off of the gold standard two years afterwards, and then the economy was hollowed out with fiat, and that basically started the decline of the us middle class, and the new financial system was used (successfully) to bankrupt the Soviet Union in the 80’s.
Basically neoliberalism “won” in 1971.
