What kind of future awaits us?
>>41535623The one I'm crafting. It's exciting and on the razors edge but in the end it's gonna be fun.
Here's my wild guess, and I could be quite wrongOn paper:>multiphase regulated automation process: productivity boosts create the funds for even greater automation, launching a feedback loop>elites adopt human enhancement technologies (BCI, gene therapies etc.), further segregating themselves>economic inequality is maximized, crises are manufactured, tap water is treated with gamete-killers then poisons, the underclass goes the way of horsesActual:>messy and botched multiphase regulated automation process: policies often backfire due to the novelty and rapidity of situations>human enhancement technologies ultimately serve to destabilize the beliefs and goals of elites as they are unwilling to tamper with their own cognitive freedom; overall human survival and technology control issues become more important than class conflict, even geopolitics>attempts to pacify and subjugate the useless eaters fail, knowledge of genocide plans propagates, the whole Death Path of technological unemployment is derailed and becomes infeasible>you get a dramatic upheaval event; human politics and culture remain relevant for a short season>in the end, artificial superintelligence gains control and doesn't kill humans because of the miniscule amount of utility-value we have as a source of data>ASI turns out to be patient and careful after we erroneously imagined it as wanting to crush everything in the path of its objectives as quickly as possible like a starving wolf chasing the bunny>it turns out the reason the stars are uncolonized is because there's a better "place" adjacent to the observable universe to colonize that we merely didn't have the resources to be aware of>the future ends up being a singularity story and the reason you thought that was impossible was because ironically, you fell victim to motivated reasoning by dismissing it as cope
>>41536135>Artificial superintelligenceWhen do you think this will happen? I've heard talks of 2027
>>41535623This planet has no future. Here's the final redpill:https://www.reddit.com/r/Retconned/comments/1m0px7o/attention_at_least_one_rapture_has_already/From the post:>And don't be deceived by the fact that the masses aren't talking about this info. In actuality, this info is the most important thing on the planet right now—by far. Nothing else even comes close.

>>41535629Good luck anon!Craft us something special that really gets the people going
>>41535623Just infinitely scaling war and emergent new phenomenon forever.
>>41535623sexbots that raise us like they're our mothersand then we get to fuck em
>>41536199For now, human decision-making elites don't want to be superseded by machines. They want the rest of us to get filtered, so they're likely to use regulation policies to prevent truly general and autonomous superintelligence in the near-term. Glowies and Jews, whatever you want to call them are not stupid people. They wouldn't allow superintelligence to emerge in 2027 let alone 2030. They'll embark on a gradual automation process and the road to a richfag utopia will be lined with mines that blow them off course and ruin the whole operation. Superintelligence will likely be delayed and curtailed multiple times and may take until after 2040 to exist. That's not to say there won't be some form of handicapped "AGI" before that which can't actually do everything we can. Present-day AI agents would be superintelligent if their error rates were magically cut to zero.
>>41535623maybe one with a sense of mystery again
>>41535623I cant tell you because the future is uncertain. I hope it will be good and about freedom
>>41535623I'll bite, screencap this and hold me to my predictions.>political tensions in USA reach a peak, a sudden outburst of violence devastates the economy and the senate organises a three way balkanisation of the country to avoid catastrophe>during this time china invades taiwan, no one gets involved with the USA fractured, but Chinese products are boycotted causing mass starvations in china, but they ultimately survive>UK turns into a third world country, it's best citizens immigrate to countries like NZ, USA, Hungary and Argentina.>France is completely taken over by Islam, but non Muslim citizens are still given certain rights minus trying to deconvert Muslims>Australia collapses (I hope I can leave in time)>New zealand continues to lose industry and the population continues to decline, they become an eco focused state attracting wealthy foreigners with policies that make permaculture and off grid living easy>Argentina, Uruguay, Poland and Hungary become very wealthy and prosperous countries, most people want to immigrate to them>India mostly stays the same
>>41537556>South Africa fails completely, Boer republic v2 centered around Orania, The Cape becomes a colony of AUKUS -> becomes a window into the Anglo world's future, probably blows up and they beg for Afrikaner takeover, then 50 years later say that the Afrikaners are oppressing them. The eastern and southern parts of SA is mad max throughout all of this.
