Every time a stranger has saved me in public, they've dressed in a style that's considered unusual, in the UK at least.

When I was choking, when I was being talked out of suicide, when I was being harassed by a group of guys, when my car broke down...

It was always guys dressed in

base ball caps,

track suits,

fancy sports trainers and gold jewellery.

They'd come out of nowhere.

On two of these occasions they were wearing a hat or a bag that had this pattern on it.

I asked my friend (who also lives in the UK) if she's seen people like this. She says she has never seen anyone dressed like that before. But when I go out, I see people who look like that.

They were very selfless, doing good with no ulterior motive.

Is it unusual every time I've been saved the person always seemed to dress in that particular unusual way?

Angels in disguise dressed in a weird way to stand out? What do you think?

You've literally just described a stereotypical chav. Nowadays even half of the public school boys who go to boarding school and on gap yahrs dress like that. If your friend isn't from a town/city (thank God, I'm not either), then that would explain why she hasn't seen people wearing this stuff. If you walk about on a Saturday I guarantee >80% of men aged 10-25 will be dressed as you've described.

The tartan pattern is part of the clothing brand Burberry. It's a poor-man's Barbour - shitty designer clothing trying to look classy. Again, exactly the kind of thing you see a large chunk of the UK population wear.

I'm not trying to deboonk you nor say there's nothing paranormal here, just what you've described is the OPPOSITE of standing out in my opinion. It's more like camouflage. Maybe it wasn't pulled off properly, so the vibe you were getting was like seeing an uncomfortable undercover cop?

Literally just chavs, they're everywhere in the UK

I wear nova check fairly often, gold jewellery too.
Also I'd try to help anyone I see having a drama in the street, this probably happens a couple of times a week. Whether that's stopping fights or helping people that are ill/have fallen over, chatting to people that look like they're having a shit time.
A logical way of looking at it is if you wear fashion then you're more aware of what people look like around you and you're also predisposed to caring what people think of you. This potentially makes you notice more of what's going on and compels you to do the right thing.

burberry angels

that's some awfully specific schizophrenia but I'm kind of down with it

yeah but you hardly ever see chavs wearing burberry in the UK nowadays though
you're mentally stuck in 2005, which is fine, it is way better there, but the "stereotypical chav" doesn't look like that anymore and the people who were "stereotypical chavs" don't dress like that naymore either, they're in their 40s now

so that shit still doesn't make sense

Chavs are still around. Sorry to hear they've been replaced by """roadmen""" in your area though.
