but i do want to believe. for the people that do believe, what made you believe, did you used to be a skeptic?

and, what do you think i should do if i want to believe? i want to see something paranormal in real life.

Started working with Liber Falxifer series and Book of Sitra Achra stuff ("current 218/182" stuff); it leads to direct supernatural experiences in physical reality.
Figure out how to activate the Path with the Cross Station sigils and you're guaranteed to start experiencing very physically real cool stuff (kicks in metaphysical processes "taking you out of Eden")

Here's some "Hell-Gate Sigils" to experiment with from "Book of Sitra Achra: A Grimoire of the Dragons of the Other Side".

Take psychedelics. Every trip is different, and you may turn out insufferable, but they definitely open you up to possibilities that aren't of our conventional, waking consciousness.
For example, I was pretty skeptical about crystals, then I took 2C-I one time, and while I was driving I held my green serpentine pyramid atop the wheel of my car, and could feel an energy torrent spiral through my body and out the tip of the pyramid.
This could easily be a weird effect of the drug, but as I've said, they blur fiction and reality and it's worth it to explore those doors, if only for the sterile, sober, disconnected analysis afterwards.

Try spoon bending. Grab a metal spoon. Imagine you are sending energy into it with the intention of making it bend. Leave it alone to incubate for a little bit and drop the intention/attachment. Pick it up and bend it. You’ll find if you do it right the spoon is warm and bends like putty. There’s lots of variations to the steps but that’s the one I did the first time I bent a spoon.

To me the paranormal is just a bunch of stuff that hasn't had a chance to enter the domain of the normal yet. If there are aliens, for example, we're just as paranormal to them as they are to us, that is to say, not paranormal at all, just another form of life once you get over the novelty. Many cryptids are likely to end up simply being extremely rare animals, possibly mutations or just isolated examples of otherwise dead species. Thinking about it this way, I have no trouble believing many things that fall under this category despite not having direct personal experience with anything like it.

not belief, experience. Wanting to believe is a weird approach and will lead to skepticism.

Psychedelics may provide some experience but you will come down and convince yourself that it was just the drugs...if you just want to believe.

become an artist. you dont have to be good, but it will expand your mind and allow yourself to think. i really cant stress this enough. Normies are so stuck in the box they just cant see any possibilities. Learn to read symbolism, subtext, look for deeper meaning in classic and modern art. dance, endurance exercises like running or cycling or hiking, better outdoors in nature tho. Look inward. Deep inward. Who are you? Where did you come from? Why are you here?

meditation, gateway tapes, but go slow, dont move forward until you reach mastery of each track.

be prepared for your first "paranormal" experience to be scary. Fear has no place in this field. The phenomena will try to scare you back into being a good npc, so leave any fear at the door.

I thought of three things yesterday that are unexplainable by science today but unfortunately I can only remember two of them at the moment because my memory is shot.
>dowsing/ divining rods
You can try it yourself if you don’t believe. Absolutely real.
>Oscillococcinium or however it’s spelled
I’ve turned a bunch of people onto this because it works so well. It’s for all intents and purposes a sugar pill, but will almost instantly cure you of flu. All your symptoms clear right up and don’t come back. It really works. And no it’s not placebo effect because placebos require the patient to believe they’re receiving medicine. This stuff works even if you know it’s a sugar pill and can’t possibly get rid of the flu. 4.7 stars on Amazon with over 31,000 reviews. It’s a 200 ck dilution of duck liver which means it doesn’t have a single molecule of duck liver. Explain this shit.

I guess I’d also say synchronicity is proof of some metaphysical phenomena. Read the short paper by Carl Jung to get the gist of it. He believed that the mind influenced reality.

Try to feel it for yourself, rather than listening to the reasoning of others.
Experiment moving your energy across your arm, for example. Then, feeling the energy of a tree.

>I want to believe
Then very unironically just believe. "But how can I believe without proof?" If you had sufficient proof then it wouldn't be a belief, it would just be a fact. That's the entire point of anything /x/ related at all. You're choosing to believe because the facts aren't there (in some cases. Obviously in others the facts are plainly apparent and people ignore them kek)
As for what made me believe, I just liked the subject matter when I was young and had an internet connection. I probably spent my early teens believing a LARP or two. I grew up to get a STEM degree, though, and over that time almost of the /x/-related things I wanted to believe got whittled away by facts. There just comes a point where you know to much about light or optics/electricity to buy into a schizopost about it anymore. Now there's not much left for me but there ARE weird things in the world. Thinking about it yourself and not taking official explanations at face value every time generally shows it. Certain things have explanations that are superficial at best.

What kind of /x/ stuff? Classic /x/ or modern /x/? There's a diffrence
>>
>>41630180
Eventually you will see or experience some things that will change you. Personally. Any attempts to explain this to others in a non "approved esoteric" theme like a ufo or bigfoot will bring you much ridicule and unhappiness.

>"i want to be a retard, but i can't."
Then just don't be.
>>
ops life is going to turn into a paranormal portal now. you made a challenge, better to play stupid and hide your butthole from the 1st waves of rape ghosts.
>>
Shared nonverbal hallucinations was what convinced me that psychic powers are real. Seeing giant ball of fire UFOs. Etc
>>
The people around me reminded me I was psychic, they kept talking about it and testing it and trying to use it until it woke me up out of decades of unconsciousness into my awakening. It's just as I foresaw at 5; the planned destruction and creation of thinking material, brain cells and the like, is the greatest expression of spiritual warfare. I perform it in the dead and the living and even within my own body and thoughts, which I can room for improvement in.

My psychic prowess saved my life on more then one occasion. I was aware of my unconscious counting stars as I dodged a deadly attack to defeat my attacker with one throw. Unless you were put in the fox hole and had to rely on spiritual prowess to come out alive I don't know what sort of wake-up call you're looking for; I can and do make changes to brain cells out there so beings can communicate telepathically, but they don't want it interrupting their daily thoughts, frightening them or hurting or taking time or having side effects that are undesirable. That's a long list of things that slows our developments but we're working on it.

If you want to help you can in pretty much any way. Helping The Almighty via the occult is made accessible so plants and animals can do it, I knew a rabbit that mostly helped by counting the pellets in it's bed and how many times it chewed things, brain cells were put in that rabbit so that helped. When the rabbit thinks of an idea clever enough it thinks I'll like it, or when it lonely, or in need, it contacts me telepathically. I hear plants sometimes.

Meditate, pray, wish. If you want rewards with powers, cells inside you and others is your key; if you sin hard enough spiritually to gain my attention, changes will happen in you and others in response.

If killing brain cells were so easy it could go wrong kids everywhere playing villains from comic books would lobotomize us, don't worry; it's done in a safe untamperable-with way that benefits the holy plan.

Once you realize nothing is real, you realize anything can be real.

If you have dreams about the future, without situational context, when those events take place it you will become paranoid or eager to guess the conditions and time of the next one you see in your dreams. Sometimes you'll witness the present from someone else's sight, it's uncontrolled remote viewing since you can't choose who/where.

Remote viewing. I remote viewed a random guy who posted 'p on an altchan around a year ago, I could accurately describe his face and his approximate geographical location. He was scared shitless and begged me for forgiveness. Haven't had any success since.

Some weird things happened to me as a kid in my mom's house, a priest had to come and bless the house

I was on a yacht with eleven smart, skeptical men. An object the size of a town, a tetrahedron having perfect lines, cruised nonchalantly at 1k agl against the wind despite having no features or apparent propulsion. No noise or emissions. We watched for at least a minutes as this this cast clear shadows over land. It still creeps us out and none of us will talk about the event. There is zero doubt humans could not have created this thing. That's the day I knew there is something other than us at the apex.

this. hallucinogenic drugs taken with meditation and deep focus can often bear fruit.

you changed your mind about "crystals" after hallucinating from consuming a hallucinogen? fascinating.
psychedelics can provide the most profound and mystical insights into the nature of mind and body, and what you got out of it was le crystals.
responses like this are why psychedelics always get shat on in any serious philosophical discourse. people without the faintest idea of how to interpret/integrate the experience just saying some bullshit.

I watched a YouTube video that was posted here in /x/.
It talked about nonsense that I don't remember well, probably some conspiracy.
It showed a background with a blob monster that had multiple eyes and moved in a wave like form.
In the center there was a purple (Hinduism inspired?) human like being with a single eye as its head.
The only words I remember were at the end, it said something like: "she is the christ".
I was raised catholic, but I was an atheist at the moment of watching the video, even so, it caused me great distress.
I could not sleep for one night and the next morning.
I had all kind of hallucinations, like all kind of possibilities of what is 3i Atlas really is and who's behind the current divide of society and communities.
I literally could not sleep because as soon as I was falling asleep I was bombarded by what I think were ayys psychic attacks trying to control my mind.
I could see a reality that didn't make sense but I immediately knew I was thinking in a dream but my own thoughts were not mine.
I tried to fall asleep dozens of times and could not, the thing same happened with different scenarios playing in that dreamlike reality that seemed infinite.
It left me traumatized and I had to go to the neurologist to get a pretty powerful sleeping drug (you can't buy them without prescription).
In retrospective, it seems like I don't trust purple deities, they seem diabolic, even though I don't believe the devil is a thing, but those purple deities really are the nearest of what I would consider an adversary.
Psychic attacks are real. You need drugs or a strong psyche to block them.
Mind control is definitely real. It should be widely discussed in public.
