so i posted this in /tv/ and they mostly called me a bot, but i'm dead serious about this. i distinctly remember an old interview where arnold says his family name was actually "schwarzenitzer" and he changed it because it was easier for the public (the irony, i know).i'm not talking about the "arnold strong" thing in hercules. this was a tv appearance, maybe late 70s or early 80s.any oldfags here remember the name specifically? i cant get this out of my head. is this a known glitch or was arnold just screwing with the interviewer and i fell for it?
still monitoring the thread. i’ve been looking through some old bodybuilding mags and forum archives from the mid-2000s and a couple of people mention a "funny name story" arnold used to tell in his early days. none of them write "schwarzenitzer" explicitly but the phonetics match what i have in my head.
