Is this thread being slid by glowies? This is an interesting rabbit hole. Some programmers let DARPA AI programs from the 2000s respond to questions and uploaded videos that used the responses. All the historical programs, DARPA initiatives in the vid description check out.Passing the turing test means very little and it's always been a very stupid concept, but this is a neat bit of AI history. I might try filing FOIA requests regarding CENNS.
