Does anyone here remember this? Way back some anon posted about stuff related to faster than light travel related to “quaternions” and linked to a couple of archives and pointers. Some of the links they gave led to fark threads where a couple of prominent names discussed this stuff, before something called “the great fark massacre” happened where a bunch of accounts got deleted after governments or something found out. Apparently they had a base on a planet called “planet dirt” and I remember an official looking government document linked to this whole thing. does anyone else remember this? It’s been bouncing around my head for a bit, and I remember getting chills the first time I explored it.

This image reminds me of a dream I had wherein I was taking Japanese-learning classes in a school with Hololive vtubers and I was so worried about failing that instead of being confident in my high-grade skills, I cheated on all the tests. I was also a teacher, not just a student, and it was my job to make sure our class was the cleanest and most unique or weirdest or something like that. I wanted to quit constantly because I was the one who ended up cleaning, but it was because I didn't want to sit down and think about how my lack of social skills was what I needed to rally the others to do their parts. I guess what I can personally gleam from this dream is that it is okay to be paranoid as long as it makes you a better person. (Please don't ask me what this means.)

Lol that's me. I don't know about the official government document part, maybe you're talking about the 2004 NIAC report from the USAF totally not about antimatter weapons? The long and short of it is this
>Be guys on Fark 20 years ago
>Threads never closed
>Could talk about glownigger things in dead threads
>MIC contractors, a DIA guy, an AFOSI attache with State Department and others caught talking about naughty things
>DIA catches wind, scoops everyone up
>State Department guy loses his job, DIA gets reamed, MIC guy gets a derog
>Talks about it on ATS years later
>There indeed WAS information posted (research paper links), a lot of it from Penn State
>No longer available on Penn States website
>Kenneth Edwards, the guy who gave a presentation for NIAC that got leaked to the SF Gate, is part of this discussion
>His boss, Gerald A Smith, wrote the antimatter propulsion paper as part of the DIA Threat Assessment leaks a few years ago
>No one has put two and two together that Edwards and Smith not only know each other, but were getting shitloads of money to trap positrons behind a Sears in New Mexico for the DoD
It's an interesting because if it's a LARP, it's a weird one. Bedlam/Erewhon has very little engagement on FARK or ATS, and you wouldn't know half of what the fuck their talking about if you didn't know. I recognized some of the names, like LiJun Wang, because I followed it in the news in 1999. I don't know about the UFO talk, but I can 100% tell you the Dugway Zapper is a billion percent real, and I have research links to prove it

You can find links in the archives. Most of the good threads are from /k/, where this is a frequent topic of discussion. "Dugway Zapper" will find you most of them. I can post some of the links here.

>Light pulses are slowed to bicycle speed, 15 miles/hour, in clouds of ultra-cold atoms. This is 50 million times lower than the light speed in vacuum. In the process the pulses spatially compress by the same large factor, from 1 km to only 0.02 mm, at which point they fit entirely within the atom cloud and a light pulse can then be completely stopped for many seconds.
>Pulses spatially compress by the same large factor...
>Spatially compress
What happens to the wavelength? Coincidentally, one Lene Hau's graduate students was with the Naval Research Lab and was employed by Raytheon at the time. He still is, just as a VP of Defense Systems (Zachary Dutton).

>Make it on the fly, of course. How do YOU guys do it? That's what makes Proteus so spooky - you can honk a collimated relativistic beam of positronium at someone at the mA level.
>Of course, if you want hot pair-on-pair action, it helps to have a Schwinger on hand.
This is what makes me think there is something to the rest of it. This particular thing is absolutely 100% real.

Yeah, this was it I think. Thank you, as soon as I read bedlam and erewho it all clicked, guess I’ve got to sink my teeth into this again. https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/38694473/#38694473
https://archive.4plebs.org/x/thread/38142356/#38147375 also, Here’s two links that I also dug up before you answered, relating to planet dirt and the ship, don’t know if fake and gay or real though
>>
Also forgot to say, but since you brought up anti matter weapons and all that, what’s your opinion/info on project marauder? That one weapon system that can send doughnut shaped balls of plasma at high speeds or something
>>
>>41650505
The first one is me, the second one is some fag from /k/ is appears. We originally came up with hypothesis the Planet Dirt is Proxima B from the original ATS posts. It's a bitch because ATS is down, and I have a billion bookmarks from there to sort through.
Project Marauder is the partly the genesis of this. Unironically the thing that probably got them in trouble was also at Kirtland Air Force base (phase conjugate optics systems for laser weapons). Marauder was not technically feasible because it was attached to the Shiva Star capacitor bank, which is the size of an actual building. This is polariton pulse compression mechanism for an x-ray/gamma ray laser.

I take that back, second comment is me, thread posting is the /k/ fag.

I will say this, as the person that brought this information to le 4chan about 7 years ago, it has circulated quite a bit. It's interesting, to say the least. I particularly focus on the Dugway Zapper because it's something we can almost 100% prove is real based on publicly available research (a very limited amount is available though). The whole DIA/Fark Massacre is probably real as well. There used to be a whole lot more about Penn State's antimatter program on their website, and it wasn't just about AIMStar. There used to be some interesting photos and research papers strongly insinuating they were creating and trapping non-trivial amounts of antimatter. That was disappeared shortly after the SF Gate got ahold of Kenneth Edwards NIAC presentation and wrote a series of articles in 2004 about the USAF antimatter weapons program. You can still find some references to bulk laser positron production using gold films from Livermore National Lab. Same thing with (((time travel))) and Project Looking Glass. That's got some truth to it, but it's about photon time reversal and optical phase conjugation, not literal time travel. The name of the PDF is "Through The Looking Glass with Optical Phase Conjugation".
