What are the best religious, lore, or mythological concepts you can fuse, and why?

Kabbalah and Mahayana mix together well

Can add in Taoism also. And then it becomes clear what Brahman really is, so throw Hinduism in there too.
>>
>>41674157
Because in Kabbalah, the godhead emerges from emptiness (Ain (nothing) -> Ain soph (no limit) -> Ain soph Aur (limitless light) -> Kether) and Mahayana's whole thing is everything being emptiness. Which is a lot like Wuji->Taiji in Taoism like here >>41674158
>>
>>41674158
Wuji just looks like yang inside yin. ALSO WHY.

Oh. Okay. I'll grok this.

I like how Djinn are made out of certain elements and want to fuse chinese and hermetic and periodic elementalism with angels and djinn and stuff.

>Make all the coolest Yu-Gi-Oh monsters all combos of other monsters
>Make polymerization a "legendary rare" card that is nearly fucking impossible to pull
What the FUCK did they mean by this? I saw exactly one kid ever have that card and we all said he wasn't allowed to use it in the games (sorry bro) because it was so cool and nobody else ever got one.
The popularity of the entire thing fizzled hard right then too. Polymerization should NOT have been rare.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, gentlemen.

Most fun I ever had with the game as a kid was playing pic related after a fusion.

Darn, I don't know a lot about "magicians". I should learn this more.

Using google AI, "Primordial Chaos in religion:

Primordial chaos, the formless void before creation, appears across many religions as the raw material or state from which a structured universe emerges, often personified as deities like the Greek Chaos, the Babylonian Tiamat (watery abyss), or the Norse Ginnungagap (abyss between fire/ice), representing potential, darkness, or disorder overcome by a divine force to bring forth cosmos. In Abrahamic faiths, it's the "unformed and void" deep from which God brings order, while Chinese cosmogony features Hundun as a central chaos, and Eastern philosophies see it in concepts like Shunyata (emptiness).
Key Examples of Primordial Chaos:
Greek Mythology: Chaos (the gaping void/abyss) was the first being, from which emerged Earth (Gaia), Tartarus (Abyss), and Eros (Love), setting the stage for other entities like Darkness (Erebus) and Night (Nyx).
Norse Mythology: Ginnungagap, the great abyss between fiery Muspelheim and icy Niflheim, where fire and ice met, forming the first giant Ymir and beginning creation.
Babylonian Mythology: Tiamat, the primordial salt water, personified the chaotic deep, which the god Marduk defeated to create heaven and earth from her body.
Ancient Egypt: Nu (Nun), the primordial watery abyss surrounding the first mound of earth, a vast, dark, chaotic ocean.
Chinese Cosmogony: Hundun, a primordial, formless entity or egg, symbolizing the central chaos before the separation of Yin and Yang.
Abrahamic Traditions (Judaism/Christianity): The Bible describes the earth as "unformed and void, and darkness covered the face of the deep" (Tohu va-bohu), a watery chaos overcome by God's spirit to establish order, echoing Babylonian myths.
Zoroastrianism: Angra Mainyu (Ahriman) represents the destructive, chaotic spirit opposing the good, creative force.
Common Themes:
The "Deep" or "Waters": Often depicted as vast, dark, formless waters.

They're all right. Chaos rules! But then starts to lose... for some reason.

A State of Potential: Not just emptiness, but the raw material or space from which order and structure arise.

Overcoming Chaos: A divine figure (like Marduk or God) often battles and tames or structures the chaos to create the cosmos (Chaoskampf).

Usually the world is created through some kind of word or sound and a walled garden is created, as well. Basically Earth (or being "inside God" is to be within a sort of patch of order within chaos)

The Nobody...
>>
>>41674269
So basically, within physics, you can see that entropy prevails. The world is geared toward a less orderly state. It takes energy in order to make things more orderly. However, when energy becomes dense enough, self-perpetuating organizational systems can arise, examples being life or weather systems.

I think that eventually everything will be part of some different competing "order".

My best friend in 4th grade drew an actual full Exodia on me in his first hand once. We were going apeshit about it in his bedroom because I had made such a big deal of him shuffling extra since I knew he had all the pieces in his deck. Wonder what his parents thought was going on up there kek

Most of this analysis is sorta over-emphasizing throw away ideas from the series. But "benevolent possession" is interesting.
