Personally, I think this is where the consciousness takes what aspects of existence it wanted and vacates the body.

Death is the stage of perpetual continuity brought about by the destruction of selfhood. Everything you knew as yourself gets dissolved into the bigger whole, be it back to the earth through the food chain, or if you have religious beliefs, back to whatever awaits outside the known world. The result is the same: an experience outside the bounds of our individual perspective, and therefore completely unknowable to us, that is at same time all to familiar to our daily lives, the original contradiction.

You are light of sin, thus you can float to heaven, you are heavy with burdens you created (Christmas Carol: "The chains you forged in life"), weigh you down till you sink to the deepest pit. Maybe yours is a different interpretation of this but still the same. What bugs you in life will haunt you in death. What brought you true and genuine joy in life, is in death.6. You spend time in this. It is indeed almost maddening, and when you realize it's a cycle constant and flowing...7. You cry out almost in pain as the light greets you. Whether it be from the womb of a camel, the egg sack of a spider, the hands of a doctor, or even the spark of imagination from a child seeking a friend no one else can see.
