I just missed a thread about personality vampirism that perfectly describes a situation I've been dealing with. There's someone in my life who mirrors and adopts every minor thing I do, wants to become better than me, and wants to be with me (flirts with me just enough that it can be chalked up to plausible deniability). It makes my skin crawl, and I would like some /x/ guidance on why this is happening and how to stop it. I understand that some mirroring is healthy, but this goes way too far.

>>41677251Don't speak to them. It's really simple. Block, ban, delete, ignore, avoid, tell them go -go away- etc. Then if they begin stalking you, after two unwanted contacts report the homo to the police or other appropriate authorities. If you don't do this, consider that you want the attention.
