Either he mocked the Son of God to his face, right at the moment when he probably should have been appealing to him - or he's just another loser bandit who was crucified by the Romans. No divine favor, no demonic powers, even in life he has to resort to petty theft to get by and he wasn't even good enough at that to not get caught. At least Dismas was smart enough to beg the guy who claims to be the Son of God to forgive him. It's a safe bet when you're at the very end of your life and there's no hope for you anyways. This is all assuming these guys ever even existed in the first place, of course. Either way - huge jabroni.
