So I notice I can alter my state of mind quite a bit even further via emotional jump off points. Things such as nostalgia, what could have been, and the thought of death trigger it the best so far. It's akin to a quantum computer where for a split second you reach a point of sudden realization but it's fleeting and you're stuck trying to decipher it - like having a dream that was vivid but then you forget.I had one that went very deep, like there was some kind of proclamation behind it. Something apart of me that I wasn't getting - a past life maybe? I don't know, but for that split second it feels like I'm piercing the veil.Anyone else experience this?
Are you really all this useless?

I honestly don't know if it makes any sense to try figuring out whether this anti-pattern is you or not
First off quantum mechanics is a load of shit. But yes, one can easily fall down the rabbit hole of ones own thought processes, to some strange, scary & often wonderful places. Whether it's anything beyond harnessing the internal power of, & complexity of your own nervous system's biochemistry is unknown. Obviously most of you feel differently. But I have seen no proof that the realm of ideas/consciousness is truly more "real" & beyond that of the material world.

>>41688755I'm a loner so it comes naturally, unfortunately. To expound more, it's like this: Have you ever had a very early in your life thought come to you as you were thinking. Something that jolts you that you remember this thing that should have been lost. To a lesser extent it's like remembering a dream you had. It's like that, but more esoteric. It comes on fast and I catch glimpses things but faintly, it's more the feeling that's impactful.I have a suspicion I'm tapping into what Jung called "Active imagination" though to what extent I'm unsure.

>>41689027No, I do some of these things admittedly, but this doesn't fall neatly into the categories I'm reading. I'll continue to explore it, it's more akin to meditation / dissociation if I would label it.
