What do y'all think about Rudolph Steiner, Theosophy, and his takes on Buddhism? He's got this whole eternal christ self thing going on that clashes a bit with Buddhism which he apparently calls outdated and a "retiring compassion" which is unnecessary for the "new age". Buddhism wants to escape samsara, but he wants to transform it even though no part of Samsara is eternal. So what? Heaven on Earth and we all live forever? What's his deal? What's his cosmic endgame and more importantly: What do you think is closer to the truth? or do you think the truth is optional at that point? That we have a choice in that final destiny? Or is that more cope?
