>>41688637It's true that we can't ever know if someone else is consciously aware. We assume that other people are because we assume that we ourselves are. Neither is a safe assumption. The fact is that we have no frame of reference that allows to determine whether or not we are ourselves consciously aware. Effectively, if you were unconscious you wouldn't know and if your consciousness was simulated you wouldn't know and if your consciousness was real you wouldn't know. Assuming that anyone at all is consciously aware is NPC behavior.
