These are some of the benefits of earthing electrically. There's plenty more apparently. Beware of scammy products, you'll find grounding mats with an outrageously high price for what it is essentially a very cheap product to make. I earth myself when I go to sleep and I just use one of those cheap anti-static bracelets you use to replace computer parts. They cost from 5€-20€ on Amazon, while the grounding mats about 130€.

They only cost so much because they are alternative health products and they put huge prices on those.

This grounding won't give you any direct protection from the microwave and other wavelength blasting we're subjected to, but it will alleviate the inflammation that comes from that.

The most important thing would be to have a cheap faraday cage AT LEAST for when you sleep, because that's when blast the NEXRAD/5G at full power at night. But I'm broke, chronically ill and economically dependent on my parents and I can't make/buy one.

If you can do it that's possibly the most important thing for your health I'm not even joking. A simple faraday cage like that one made with a fine aluminum mesh would be very cheap (don't need to buy the fancy silver one, or copper, much more expensive). If correctly made, that will block TV signals, NEXRAD, WiFi, 3G and even 5G but you need to make sure there's no openings, the higher the frequencies, the sneakier the waves are (lower wave length) and they get in everything.

I don't think they'll have any effect on lower waves such as common electrical distribution 50Hz-60Hz in europe-USA, and I don't think HAARP either. Still if you can do it and you can afford it (it will be really cheap to make) just do it.
